Spoiler! Either Viper or DauT should have taken the right side of the mainland after evicting sp4rk and edie, make trade, and put walls and gates between them to avoid sudden betrayals, and just go after the 2 that escaped. Then battle it out between themselves.

unfortunately, Viper missed abeautiful chance to do a very mongolian thing. After daut was gone, he had 40 SO, should have just cut down all of the trees on the map except near his base.

Man, it's so boring when 4 players team up since the very beginning and not once change their diplomatic stance. You might as well play a 4v4 then. And these guys even abused you putting them on ally for a few minutes during your fight with Daut by moving their units around and getting their feet back on main land again. That's cheating and it's pathetic. At the end Edie did it again, too. T90 should've done something about it, but whatever. I hope he was never allowed on a community game after this.

secretly i hoped that you dont destroy daut's market, so you can trade with a dead daut

Honestly, Viper should have won this. He played this like a true champ, all odds were stacked against him. I think though they really destroyed all opponents way too quickly on the mainland and failed to cement their position. The mainland was just too big and too hard to control. And really, he shouldn't have left troops there to snipe Daut. The only chance they had was working as a team. The demise of this alliance was effectively doom. But, consider this, Viper and Daut were the only players who did anything during this game, everyone else just sat around and pussy foot the entire game. If anything these games should have both a winner and a peoples champion vote, where people can vote for who deserves the glory. I vote for Viper.

Trying to take water without controlling whole mainland was a mistake i think... You had 10 k wood and you could chop all the wood, place stables to shores, have vision on everywhere, palisade wall may be etc. We are greatly dissatisfied bec the plan worked perfectly fine for the first 100 mins :) GG man, thanks for sharing

You played with a good strategy. But Daut was like "La Hire wishes to kill something!". He was my favorite player in this particular game. :D Fought and fell as a true Celtic man! XD

We have some chat issues! As seen in T90's video of this game: 1) After the restore, red (edie) seems to be saying that he can see TheViper's messages even after TheViper said to "check your writings", and TheViper's own chat settings can be seen to not include red. 2) 1:23:41 in T90's video. Stark (cyan) says some stuff at 1:56:29 in-game time. T90 is spectating TheViper. In this video, at 1:25:48, same in-game time, that message doesn't show up. Also, pastebin.ｃｏｍSLASH4ukwRxDG It can be seen again around 1:58:15 game time. Stark's "1111" is from around 1:53:40 game time. Later messages from red and cyan aren't in the chat. That '1111' was a few seconds after TheViper last touched the chat menu to add red and cyan, so there probably wasn't a bug that caused 'add to recipients' to turn to 'mute player'. Not updating this again.

I know viper is the best at this game... But why not monk? Took him half and hour to realise they would be crazy good invest...

[SPOILERS] 2 on 1 at the end was pretty unfair and doesn't have much point since edie had no chance of winning for the last half of the game :( Would have been neat to see a 1v1 vs stark land vs water battle and the fight for control. Fun game though :D

around 18:05....he says,"okay if that's the way you want to play" about tatoh...and he sounded kinda angry....wouldn't that just wanna make you leave a bundle of fudge in your knickers, knowing that viper was pissed off at you and possibly out to knock you out....lol

You could also do another thing man. Destroy all wood except a certain area where you can focus on. Just destroy everything else and screw them over at sea. Build a wonder too. Think about it man lolol

Cool game but the inevitability with their endless free gold at the end was so painful. What I think you should've done was try to pitch them against each other somehow. Like all chat something like "If I resign now who wins?". Sow some doubt into them like that. In the end only some type of diplomacy was gonna get you out of that situation. Who knows maybe they start focusing more on backstabbing each other.

Also you know if you gotten that small patch of water earlier. You could have build docks and upgraded ur ships. Then go the ocean and take them down. Just ideas

Losing the game was due to a strategical mistake at a critical point i think. He should have cleared the entire landmass, and secured all the coastlines, before making trying to win water. They couldn't have prevented him from building his fleet if he did it smarter, but I guess he just wanted to end the game fast, that's why he ultimately failed.

I feel like you should have set up outposts everywhere, set up trade, trebbed the docks in the pond, and not bothered with water. Still would've been almost inevitable though! Amazing you held for so long

Daut's demise was the highest point of the game, you and him could of have taken over the world!!! Then make a huge wall dividing the main land and fight each other off in a massive war with all the resources gathered

Good game even though it got stale at the end. I really liked the diplomatic approach viper started out with. Also he and DauT should’ve at least taken the seas, at the very least, clear up the island.

if everyone accepted to be your allies, no one would have lost they're lives and the map would be a beautiful place of harmony and peace.

you should sift the land, fences, buildings. then get the whole tree and only after that go out into the water. they would not have enough. cute game

im a bit late, but is it too much work to cut those parts where you dont do much? i mean after 1h while you dont fight for example. its just a question, i dont have an idea of how much time would cost that, its just that i dont usually have 2h to watch a game like this one

i really don't understand you, Viper.... i mean, what happened in second part of the game???? in the whole game, actually?? you just needed to destroy that one dock in that little lake and you would have gotten rid of a threat, a festering wound which came to bite you in the ass later. i mean, you dont even have to be a noob to understand this, it's matter of common sense! speaking of which, if you don't know where ppl will land, why not just build a wall all around the landmass? sure, it can be a bit inland to protect from ships, but enemies can't penetrate deep in you base. seriously, what a disappointment, left a bitter taste in my mouth. you waste money on useless siege later on instead of securing your borders and booming inside. and finally, speaking of water: it was EASY to take, had you built in upper corner where it cuts inland. how? well, just rush like 4 - 5 bombard towers and start spamming demo ships and galleons. and in time they will need to regroup, boom - 10 docks churning out galleys! securing docks with towers, old trick done even by my dad - and he's 60 now!
