well we are aligned to the traveler, the thing that brought them up only to leave them and see them fall. We'd have to abandon the traveler if we want to be allies with the fallen. Even then most of them are savages now. They care not for making allies and are surely driven by hatred towards the light

There's a theory that the traveler was also about to abandon humanity but Rasputin crippled the Traveler, now that D2 is out and (SPOILER) the Traveler is awake, next major dlc will be about Rasputin, I believe, wonder what will happen. Man I can't wait

Ar.In.G I love this theory. because it makes no sense that the traveller stayed with us. none whatsoever, in every story we have of the traveller it just up and left when times got tough. With the info we got from rasputin and stuff like that with the sleeper quest and lore, i think that that has to be the case, and when it wakes up its gonna destory everything we thought we knew about it

That didn't happen. Rasputin didn't shoot the traveler. The traveler had simply decided to stay. He used all of his might to fend off the darkness attacking the system, succeeding in only securing some of earth, and creating the ghosts in his last breaths.

That is up to bungie, maybe a devil will learn how to wield siva again, perhaps farther down the line while the fallen seem to have been dealt with, bit that would be disappointing. Perhaps they turn to the darkness, join forces with one of oryx's sisters and work together to purge the light, and seek revenge. This however is not the nature of the hive, but we shall see

Thad Castle I seriously can't see why Destiny couldn't have done that, all the pieces were there, Osiris exiled for studying the vex extensively, he's assumed to have figured out there time travel meaning we could use the vex technology to go back and actually be there when the Iron lords fell, when the fallen first arrived, there's so many possibilities that bungie never touched

Exile lost a baron to us, and we don't know if they even have a kell or Archon... or Prime for that matter. The Kings helped orchestrate Twilight Gap. And the Wolves probably hate us the most now, Skolas said it well enough. Yasmin was an Awoken I believe. Well if the flavor text is right lol. It talks about Yasmin yelling about protecting the queen before the blast that wiped the fleet out.

the other weapons are all people races that fell before oryx and the darkness. the stories and the races are sometimes loosely referred to in the Book of Sorrows if you read through the entire thing and understand it the first time (took me like 4 or 5) these races come up here and there in the book. the descriptions of the weapons and the names allude to whivh race is which

I've read the book of sorrows only one time. It wasn't that hard to understand. Granted I need to go back and reread it for researching these people and who they were. #WarlockProblems

the only enemies that should be in the game are the fallen and the hive, the vex and the cabal are just pointless the game would be 10 times better if it focused on the main enemies instead of adding useless races

From what I've seen in the story we could pretty much just ally with the cabal, they got beef with the hive and the vex. This AI is so stupid they'll stop attacking a group of their enemies just to go after me one fucking person lol

If you read some grimoire entries it's clear the Traveler is benevolent, but it is somewhat of a coward. It bestows knowledge, power, and golden ages onto sentient species throughout the universe, but it's also trying to create an army to protect it from the Darkness. When it becomes clear that its chosen Guardians will fall to the Darkness, it abandons them for a new host species. Maybe the Traveler has decided to make its last stand in Sol, or maybe it's too injured to run away again.

I hope skolas isn't dead and ends up becoming a great kell and the kell of kell and in one DLC you are sent to fight him but oryx brings himself back and Skolas challenges and beats him but sacrifices himself but when the fallen of all houses are mourning him he gets revived by a ghost
