Such a detailed picture of the lives of these men. I haven't heard any other historic channels take such care when telling these stories. You had my subscription after the first story I heard. Keep up the amazing work! Happy to see the channel growing.

These 'legends of the old west' podcasts are great. Like I've said before, I'm amazed these podcasts do not have more viewers and more thumbs up.

I have watched every episode in your story about Jesse James. This is very good and I am certain this is all accurate as described since I live in St. Joseph, directly across the street from what you called the Worlds Hotel and Jesse James home is around the corner.

To this day, it makes me think about the elites and how they test the simplicity of people's attention to believe a well written story based on true event's and this happened after the Civil War to win 1 for Dixie or when they say he had been a gorilla fighter against the Union who hit the border State's and the Southern State's didn't seem to take any side's but they also had a war against Mexico which the native tribe's they had a lot going on in the U.S. after the Lawrence KS Massacre they really got going or was it Creative Writing to lure those people who felt demoralized after losing the war it would seem like they could see themselves doing the same for legacy and wealth which is like everyone thinking they could become a rap star 😄 there's Wyatt Earp and Bros. Batt Masterson, Doc Holiday, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid then Billy the Kid so many people and places like Dodge City KS these are all probably true or people need inspiration for brain activity or we get more nonsense like Dillinger and that era of the Crime Wave State's just got more Federal intervention makes people look backwards like they're not handling State Government and pocketing Federal Fund's cause they chose carpet baggers and snake oil salesman who probably suppress access to local government that I can relate with.

I know many view Jesse James as a kinda folk-hero, but I have never held that view. To me, he was nothing more than a ruthless, cold-blooded killer, or to quote one newspaper man at the time who wrote: "Jesse James gives no more thought to killing a man than he does pouring milk on his breakfast cereal."

My great grandfather new Frank and saw him when he got out of prison and told a story about how big his ring was. Odd and funny, but if his fingers were that big I definitely don’t have man hands I guess.

It seems the youngsters don't care about history ..they are only consumed with themselves . Perhaps these series will have their interest

Yeah it's no wonder those prosecutors passed on the last two charges on Frank James. His soul defense in the first two trials was basically his service to the Confederacy. The jury walked him on both trials. his guns and gun belt can still be viewed at the museum in the state capitol at Jeff City.

Interesting to see how the mood of the country can change, political landscape can change, etc. Lots of moving pieces and parts. Not surprised that Jesse James died as a result of a bullet, but to the back of the head of one from his inner circles is pretty telling as well for a bunch of thugs and murderers. The love of money is truly the root of all evil.

Does anyone else think the Ford brothers even if after the assassination their behaviour was questionable that that the shooting of jessie was a preemptive strike, because jessie was after killing one of his gang and I think he was going kill either one or both Ford brothers, I wonder would anyone agree, by the way great documentary.

At one point, you say "Jesse and Frank would never see each other again," then you give accounts of two railroad robberies together.

No he said that they didn’t see each other after seven months. They never saw each other again after that seven months.
