I quickly quit telling people I was a Chief Learning Officer after some blank stares and one guy who asked, “So you’re like the best at teaching people things at your company?” Now I say “I work in corporate.”

I work for a company that cleans ductwork and dryer vents. I work my butt off to support my family and we barely get by. No shame at all. It's still tough though. I have no idea how people survive it mentally without a relationship with Jesus.
