You guys are total badasses! Both of you are a great inspiration, we all go to a dark place in our lives and you have to be strong to pull yourself out. We're all unique and need to stop hating on one another and stick together. Thanks Richard and Pitbull keep on rollin'!👍👍💪💪👊👊😁
Hey man I'm a complete T2, T3 paraplegic and like your videos and use them to push myself as hard as I can. Specially because I know that I won't ever do most of the things you do but still want push my self to find my limits and keep fighting them. So don't throw all of us under bus (Quads, Paras wheelchair users) because you had bad experiences with some, remember to stay humble and everyone goes through their own pain and the inability and struggle of not being able to do some of the things you can and end up taking thier frustration out videos like yours specially when a lot of people around them are comparing them with other wheelchair users that can do more than them. So keep up the good work and stay safe.
@@Wheels2Walking Hi sir, this is my story.. please help me Im siva krishna from INDIA. I met an accident in the year 2012 april 1st. In that accident my spinal cord was damaged at L1(Lumbar Region). immediately I lost my sensation from waist down after accident . Doctors did surgery to my back bone and they said you will not walk again, your spinal cord has major damage, this operation is only for sitting in the wheel chair not for getting recovery.that's what they said sir. After my surgery i did physiotherapy Excercises for 4 months. No change/no movement in my legs.. after that i went for ayurveda treatment. There i spent 5 months for ayurveda treatment. Then also no change in my legs. Then i come back to my home in the year 2013 january month.. after that i lost hope and i didn't do any exercises till now(2020). Now my legs became very thin. No bowel sensation but i have some bladder sense When my bladder is full i sense the pain and release urin. I'm not using any catheter(tube) for urination. Im having Laxatives(medicines) for motioning weekly 2 times for bowel functioning.. In the year 2016 i have severe pressure bed soar on my buttocks(back side). And went for plastic surgery for it... after that i took lot of care for not getting pressure sores. Now im ok. Recently i found your videos on youtube and i watched those videos. Sir please tell me is there any chance to get recovery in my legs again after this long gap. I'm really worrying about my future.. still im depending upon my parents to do my every work. Please answer me sir 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’m glad he mentioned that every disability needs to figure things out differently. I’m getting back into working out but it looks a hell of a lot less intense than what y’all were just doin 😅
Great video guys. Some of the comments are very discouraging, I don't understand how anyone could listen to you guys talking and still make comparisons between disabilities and ability. Some of the comments show a lack of understanding of what you where trying to convey. Keep them coming I'm enjoying watching.
I want to let you know I don’t hate you. You give me hope on how much better I can be one day. I will be getting fitted for a chair in the next two weeks. You give me so much inspiration
Incredible video as always! Thank you Pitbull for sharing your story with us, very inspirational! Both of y’all HMU next time your in DFW as I’d love to hit the weights with you guys!
I wish you were in Chicago ILLINOIS I'd work out with you every day. I have MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS in I'm in a wheelchair now. Seeing this video makes me feel some sense of hope of getting back in to bodybuilding.
U are in decent shape, I gained like 8kg in past few months, its hard to lose weight in a wheelchair, I'm always hungry when on a diet, and I did see your 30 minute workout video, My shoulders die 5 minutes into the workout even without the ball, I trained boxing for 5 years, was expecting to go through that workout with ease, o boy was I wrong. Keep up the good work! When do you expect to be walking normally again? Make a leg exercise video. @Wheels2Walking
Sympathy feels like pity to me. I would prefer someone tell me to "get off your ass and get to work" then that 'You're an inspiration' because I'll gotten to the point with my disease that I need a wheelchair and I'm learning how to use it. The wheelchair is a device I need to get around and be more mobile. I'm not using it to 'be an inspiration" I'm using it to live my life to the fullest. I enjoy watching these types of exercise videos because it gives me ideas of how I can exercise within what my body can do. Disability is like anything in life it's a puzzle that you solve. One day I want to swim in the ocean again. I just need to solve the puzzle of how to do that. For now my puzzle is how to get up hills and build my muscle to use my wheelchair longer distances without needing to be pushed. Doesn't mean I don't have down days. I can have that as long as I don't live my life in the space. I will solve the puzzle of my life in my other way. Thank you for show us how you solved the puzzle. Your not an inspiration to me. You're a bad ass and you talk that way if it offends people that's their problem. 😉
What are the handles on the SkiErg attached to? The gym I go to has some SkiErg’s but I always have to ask someone to hand the handles to me and I have been thinking of getting some hooks and attaching magnets to the bottom to put on the skiErg to hook the handles lower so I can reach them
Interesting.. I currently go swimming.. no where near as intensely crazy.. but, my local Hospital has been paying for it.. I'm not exactly have lots of $$ at the moment..
@@HighTher3 no worries! Im actually impressed someone noticed. Most people probably don't have an eye for that stuff. So it actually makes me happy people are analyzing the videos that much because I put so much time into shooting and editing them
@@Andrewdeitsch Hell yeah, homie. I can't really help it, always kinda been an A/V nerd. I've been editing videos from multiple different cameras and been dealing with the ghosting a lot lately. Unfortunately I've had a few renders lately that I had to do over cause I didn't notice it in the preview window. PS this is Stephen, the dude that did the Tropic thunder phonecall fight video.
Interestingly, his mobility is more than perhaps a paraplegic, because he doesn't have to drag around the dead weight of legs. Btw you have great core, I'm surprised you can actually do sit ups!!
My goal is to lose 80 lbs. Im not really the 'work out' type, but I got a subscription to plant fitness and I am cutting down calories. I also have a disability and use it as an excuse a lot. Pain makes things so much harder, but watching your videos gives me SO SO much hope. Thank you!!!! ❤❤
That was really cool to watch. One thing is questioning to me tho... when he talked about himself he used ableist vocabulary like crippled and handicapped, I wonder why that is. Or is it just how he felt in the past?
The difference between paraplegic and amputee is paraplegic we don't have core control or strength amputee they have core strength and control big diferent so not impressed and by the way you are the wheelchair but u can stand up you are fake you don't know about struggle on life and I don't think everyone hate you
