this review would be great if wasnt so much hate on the lego mario figure, like one of the comments said, its like comparing a kids puzzle to a normal one

Great set Not as good as the other Mario 18+ sets, the price is much better though The head being too heavy for the ball joint is disappointing Hopefully the future of the Mario theme will look similar to Animal Crossing The January 2024 Mario sets have instructions for the first time

I feel like hating on the Lego Mario figure is the same as hating on a 9-piece toddler puzzle over a normal picture of the same thing, it's for children and believe me it's beyond amazing for them :)

Was pleasantly surprised when this one was announced so I'll definitely pick it up. Probably in a sale, around £45 seems like it'd be perfect.

Huh? Who doesn't friggin love Lego Mario? My kids love these, they can't get enough, and can play it for hours, and I think it's adorable. My three gripes are a lack of paper manuals, insufficiently strong toys considering they're meant for somewhat rough play, and that combining Legos with some moving contraptions just doesn't work that well (e.g. throne in Peach's Castle, some lever-driven contraptions to slam the figures against) But I mean who hates Lego Mario that thing's awesome for its intended audience

Just build mine, it'll go nicely with my other super Mario sets. I noticed you can improve the stability quite noticeably by removing a 1x2 brick with the round ring stud, it's about half way down on the stem. It didn't hamper any movements with the leafs and I actually quite like the way now that it sat just a little lower...

I'm thinking a polybag with a mini version of that plant would be awesome. Lego should consider creating a series of polybags of the super mario theme.
