Brook Johnson briefly reviews the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon (Lego 75212), and then focuses on some comparisons (3:13), the UCS Falcon (7:55), Lego Falcon history (9:00), trends (10:36), and buying advice (12:18).
German Toys'R'Us had it for 134,99 and gave 20% off of that price. I just ignored it. I already have the new UCS Falcon. Nothing beats that. I'm now searching for a good price for the 75059 Sandcrawler.
I liked how you put this video together, not going lie you didn't show much enthusiasm in whenever you spoke but nonetheless im glad I continued watching till the end, I like how you put the prices at a science with other variations and show the scale on the two side by side along with the escape pod, really awesome review keep it up
but the updated USC 75192 has ~2500 more pieces and is actually the new reigning champion of largest set(in terms of piece count). it ran another $63 in taxes so if you buy one your total cost is going to come out to ~$863 or there abouts depending on where you live and what they charge for taxes! mine however will be remaining factory sealed and inside of the cardboard shipping box it came in just to protect it further! i would love to buy one to put together at some point though!
Got mine for $109.99 from Target. They had it listed at the $169 price point but price matched Amazon for the 109! Needless to say I was elated. Getting the Legos you want for the right price right then and there....priceless.
I’m glad you should comparison of 2018 2015 but my favorite Lego set out of them all is the kessel run millennium falcon set because it has an added action feature to wear the middle of the front can come off but the one thing that I’m not happy with is that it doesn’t have A secret room The kessel rum set:3
Just bought the Falcon from Barnes&Noble with their promo 5 $ off at 25 spent ( + 20 % off at the checkout + 10 % off (member) ... just a tad bellow 100 $ unfortunately I wanted more sets (with the promo) and after I ordered 2 others it didn't let me buy anymore :( ~ 43% discount ...
Just bought it for 108€ (incl taxes, so sth like 36% off). In Germany most of the sets not sold by LEGO themselves are always at least 20-25% off. Then you have to wait for a store sale not connected to a specific product to get like an additional 10%. It's my first Falcon so i don't care about the old ones. Even though the 2015 one looks nice [the rest not so much (playsets)].
its incredible just how inaccurate and bad the mandibles are in every single millennium falcon lego has released (apart from UCS). You thought the previous Falcon had disproportionate thin mandibles, yet the Kessel one has just ruined it completely.
"flopped" is a strong word not suitable for the situation... it was just less succesfull than other SW movies. They still made a shitton of money with it... and personally i actually really liked it :\
you can get the kessel run falcon for like 80 dollars brand new on the resale market cuz of hoe many they made and how unpopular the movie was due to the boycott
Lego deserves to be a little bit overpriced due to how much playability you get out of it compared to other toys... Buy an action figure and that actionfigure is still the same after 1 year. Buy a box of Legos and you can build alot of different things in 1 year. Which sounds more fun?
We all saw you flexing the biggest Lego set millennium falcon in the background and it is 7541 pieces now that is legitness then he shows it in the video nice
This is not a review. This is a kid whyning. Don’t know if that is correct English but I think you get my point. Greatings from Amsterdam (Netherlands Europe).
You keep about 3 minutes wobbling about money, worth etc. You must understand there are people on this globe who don’t give a sht. So the review starts after 4 minutes.... you should put that in the title dude. 😳
