LEGO Darth Vader - Battle Damaged 

This was the single most painful thing I've ever watched but the outcome was super cool

On the one hand, seeing a LEGO piece “destroyed” in this way physically pains me, but on the other hand the outcome is phenomenal.

As someone who doesn’t own a LEGO Darth Vader and really wants one I cannot explain how much this pains me.

This is pretty cool tbh I know people will get mad at this because they “destroyed a LEGO piece” but it’s not like it’s an old, not readily available piece. It’s not even expensive either, less than a dollar

Very cool! Although the most painful thing other than the destruction of the helmet was the fact the lightsaber hilt was upside down

Episode 6 of Kenobi was AMAZING!! The callbacks, the references, everything was perfect!

'You didn't kill Anakin Skywalker. I did.' I could clearly see that when Vader said this in the series finale that he had gone insane. But it's really interesting to see how you managed to recreate that insanity, so great job.

The worst part about this isn't the destruction of the helmet its the way Vader is holding the lightsaber

In case nobody else noticed VADERS LIGHTSABER HILT WAS THE WRONG WAY

Watching this episode, I just could feel the pain Vader experienced

Being a lego custom minifigure maker, seeing more people get into this hobby brings joy to me

"Anakin is gone, I amp what remains." Great job on the mask. If you want a more complete look to the battle damage part, maybe use a touch of Liquitex gloss varnish. Any time I do some non-purest mods it brings balk that shine that makes it look that much more legit.

It would look so cool, if the head actualy matched the helmet (the eyes are just too low unfortunately)😅 Interesting enough, few years back after I saw the Rebels season 2 finale, I had the same idea (just with Vader’s head from imperial Star destoyer from 2014 Where he actualy has Sith eyes) but in the end I didn’t do it for some reason, I guess I was a kid with no money back then.😂

I am hurt from watching it being filed. But it looks amazing

THAT WAS THE BEST EPISODE EVER. IN ANY SERIES. EVER.

As a plastic model builder, I suggest using a heat blade to cut through the helmet to make like some sort of laser cut. But sanding is still fine to make damages

Ita a shame the eyes don't meet up with where the eyes for vaders helmet meet up, it's always annoyed me a little. I carved a hole in one of my vader mask's eyes, and combined it with the battle damaged anakin from the somewhat recent vader transformation set, and was pretty happy with the final result, it ended up looking like an incredibly battle damaged vader, similar to the one that came in the force unleashed set, but the fact that the eye didn't meet up with the eye hole I carved always annoyed me

I guess you could say , he's cracked at lego

If anyone wants to try this and get better results try using a dremel or rotary tool instead. They are a lot easier to control and have more options then sanding files do.

Worthy Investment

My heart sank and my face cringed as the mask made contact with the filer...it was agonizing to watch, but the result is cool. I just think I can do it myself! Lol
