Of all the mob buildings Lego has made over the years I definitely think this is the one that makes the most sense from a gameplay perspective, as it’s much less a hollowed out mob and more of a proper structure with some decoration, the general overgrown ruin look is just neat. Great review as always!
I'm surprised there was no mention of the redesigned poppy. I think using the sunflower "neck" piece is a great idea, as it gives the poppy a narrower stem, takes up less space, and has no ridiculously oversized leaves!
I absolutely love these epic builds that make you want to construct it in the actual game. I actually like the unique design of the amythest knight. I do agree that an extra skeleton horse wouldve looked a lot ocoler to defend from. Hyped for more announcements and pre-ordering pumpkin swamp base for the new pieces soon.
Interested to see the pumpkin farm review. Considering it's $13 more expensive than the axolotl house while only having 15 more pieces, they better be pretty special!
This set is pretty interesting, this is the cheapest set wich has the charged creeper in it. The build is really nice too works really well with the desert village set from some time ago. As a whole i love these mob house builds and this one is a nice addition to that collection. And the skelly horses spawn in groups of 4 dont they? 4 horsemen of the apocalypse kinda thing.
I've already run out of room and they're all getting dusty. The last set I ever got from the Lego Minecraft series was the Llama Village and its so hard to hold myself back and get more.
i remember watching this video a couple years ago when i was just a little kid and wanting this set so much... it brings back so much nostalgia watching it again.
I know you already made a video about an improved Iron Golem, but I recently made my own that is based on this version. I tried to make the proportions more game accurate. It is currently the last regular video on my channel. For everyone who finds this comment at a later point in time the title is: "I improved the current Lego Iron Golem"
I just wanna share that this week I got the Red Barn for $50, and the Nether Bastion for $13! Those sales really do pay off if you wait! (and work at Walmart and know when things are going on clearance)
These are really cool and all, but I'd love to see Lego go more into the farming side of Minecraft. Like a set that's a mob farm, or an automated farm with a flying machine or something. The industrial/efficient stuff if you will. There's a whole 'nother half to Minecraft that could inspire some real creativity, and figuring out a way to depict it even more so.
In retrospect it probably would’ve been smarter if we all voted for the prismarine knight instead, since it would’ve given us another underwater build. I really hope that the Squid shows up again someday…
I have a feeling the crystal knight was inspired by ninjagos crystalized theme from last summer when it was announced. As for the set, this is what mob houses should be. Able to be a house, but also able to be fully articulated like a mob would. Love it, and I hope we see more like it.
Last wave seemed to be about 5 bucks more expensive than usual on average and this one's sitting at ten. Give it another year or so and they'll add on another 5 bucks on to of that. Next summer's big sets gonna be either 115 or theyre gonna take off about 50 peices
For me the skeleton riders and not worth as much as they were Magazines promos. STill its a lovely build! Its great to see Charged creeper though! However set should have come with horse for good guys and brown Mushroom!
I saw a theory online that this set was going to be a set on the copper golem since the lightning theme and the proportions on the golem look like a copper golem
I feel like Lego should make more terrain-based MC sets so it's easier to connect sets, (which is what lego encourages) some of the best terrain based sets are the ice spikes, mountain cave, some cave sets, which are some of the best sets released in my opinion, and even to translate other structures into lego we haven't seen yet.
even tho they are simple i do like the design on the lightning rods what caught my eyes first. makes me wonder if the golem comes to life if the lightning strikes on to them
I know it’s not gonna happen, but oh how I long for a Lego copper golem! Also, I’ve heard you say Lego reviews take like 8 hours to make, so I suggest you have earned the right to have some Papa Murpheys!
Funny you should say that the Charged Creeper will always be valuable/rare, since here in the UK it just came out in a £5 magazine prono. I imagine the value will go down quite a bit now ha ha
Nice set, but I'm letting it go. From this wave I will probably only buy a set with a witch and a toad, it will be useful for swamp MOC which I'm planning
It’s a lovely build but I would definitely pick it up much later for a discounted price for sure. The only set I’m looking to get this wave is the silly pumpkin house
Did you know? There’s a theory that this was originally a copper golem set because of the lightning theme/lightning rod elements and the building’s proportions but was scrapped after it lost the mob vote. Disclaimer: It’s just a theory. A LEGO THEORY!
My theory is that the iron golem already killed the third jockey along with the jockey's horse, I mean it would make sense since the iron golem is already on the "battlefield" and iron golems obviously go after hostile mobs
I never liked the mob house sets. I think it’s so unrealistic, like who the f builds a mob like house in their survival world?🤨 I don’t, I think they are nice on their own or as mocs, but not as LEGO sets. I want cool terrain stuff with new things to explore. Not a freakin frog house next or something. Who is even exited anymore for the Minecraft line? All we’re getting is just big brick build mobs with a bed in them.☹️
although this is a set that should be cheaper, I still think it's quite neat, and I hope lego keeps making mob house sets where the actual mob can be removed from the set of the build, just to be its own thing
Personally I know that it would be expensive but I’ve always wanted updated village sets wether another big one of lots of smaller ones from each biome
@@CheeseyStudios they do?I thought it was l8ke 2 or 3 episodes a month but that's OK plus you are still doing the series which is amazing but like there's a snowy village now and that's gonna be 1 1/2 months but idc about that BTW can you try making a custom bat mobile
@scottjonathanmooney1022 man give cheesy studios a break, it takes time to come up with a concept he has to come up with a design for a module and he uses Minecraft which takes some time to make the final product, and it isn't straight forward lol, and he has to produce, edit and all that stuff for a video and he might have to order parts or he has to make sure he has all the parts for the module. It takes time and effort be patient lol.
