What Would A 1.14 Jungle Village Look Like In Minecraft?

So, before jungle villages happen, they need a block called "Packed Leaves" for the roofs, yes?

Suggestion: Try and build a completely custom village, so you would pick your favorite biome, and the size and theme of the village is completely up to you, the buildings can be really detailed or not. It would be really cool to see a “Grian-y” type of village.

Imagine an ocean village (similar to the gungan whatever you want to call it) and a badlands village, wild west themed.

Ever notice that the bed color is equivilant to the type of village it is? Desert villages have green beds because the villagers used cactus to dye them!

I would love to see you do a village based in the End or in the Nether. Always curious about possible new villages.

I really hope that if we ever get this, the village will be up in the trees and like tree houses kinda and with bridges to connect each other

I would imagine if jungle villages existed but I will discussing how jungle village roofs where made if they added it to vanilla. Of course they will not include hay bales because that is overpowered for players, especially speedrunners. It will be likely leaves because the jungle biome is hotter than most forest biomes in minecraft, in theory, if it rains on the jungle biome with a village there, it will probably a traditional cult of villagers to dance (walking circles) because there isn't much water supplies on the jungle biome and it is believe (by villagers) to gain luck for a day and even removing depression to villagers.

the village could have some bamboo so the vegetation of the jungle fits with that of the village, but it doesn't matter, it's perfect as well

Minecraft should add 2 jungle biomes. One for the village, so it’s flat, not a lot of plants an stuff. The 2nd is a jungle, but surrounds the village and has less trees and hills. There, pillagers only spawn in raids there

With the new Bamboo blocks, I wonder if you could revisit this idea...

I think the hay bale house roof is fine because most seeds have a jungle very far from spawn, so by the time you get there, your already In the late game, and your probably set on food.

I was peeking at this to get an idea of how to design a jungle village in my world. With the updates since this video, I think the buildings would have a bamboo plank roof rather than a hay block roof. But I really like both your swamp and jungle village designs. I'm definitely going to be taking inspiration for my worlds. :)

Perfect, now we can break their roof and then sell it back to the villagers.

You could do some villages in the end or the nether or floating on the ocean or in extreme hills biome or in a cave or at the icebergs or dark oak forest or... yeah...

Ironically, I prefer to go pyromaniac when it comes to clearing dense forests if I don't feel like using commands.

Blud made the hut with no foundation indicating its meant to be low and hidden, then adds a giant yellow hat on the house in the rain forest, slabs would have been better

Idea: have the jungle village be in the trees and there would be passage ways with fences to get through the houses, and the houses could maybe look like a secret hunter treehouse-thingy, also you would get in through the vines.

If we're talking theoretical villages, a nether one would be interesting.

They should add a structure called "Town Hall" and "Bunker" Town Hall should be the biggest building in the village. A Villager called Mayor will be in the building. Bunker should be underground and all villagers enter the bunker during raids

This does look even more plausible than the last one, and more natural. And yes, I would love to see some more villages in future versions of Minecraft, especially for the biomes that already have Villager variants. Tree houses make a lot of sense, too. I do think you should have put a bit more mossy cobblestone in the builds, adding random mossy cobblestone blocks to some of the buildings that used cobblestone. I also think you should have made a lot of the beds different colors, like orange, yellow, like green, green, and teal - as normal Minecraft villages have different colored beds, and those colors would be especially fitting for the biome. That would complete the build, I think. In the future I would love to see thatch blocks (full, half, and stair) and bamboo blocks (full, half, stair, wall, and fence/fence gate) added to the game and used in villages as well. Thatch would look good in the swamp, and bamboo would look good in the jungle. I might also suggest updating to new versions by adding moss blocks to some of the villages, as well. I'd also like to sea peat/peatmoss (could be craftable by two moss and two peat blocks, crossed diagonally in the crafting table) added to the game, and the peat and peatmoss being used in swamp and mushroom/mushroom island villages as well. Maybe, since mushroom islands are rare, mushroom villages would be rarer, and would have some pretty rare loot tables in them, with some pretty cool looking villagers. An ice spikes village would also be cool, with very little wood used, and maybe ice/packed ice block variants (stairs, slabs, walls) would be added, with new frosted glass/glass panes (glass surrounded on all eight sides with snow/panes surrounded on all eight sides with snowballs) added as well. Frosted blocks in general would be amazing. Now I'm off to create a mod for this stuff XD bye

I think adding hay block for the roof is not expensive. 1. Wheat is easy to get. 2. Its got to be super hard finding a jungle village where there is lots of trees. It makes the hard work worth it.

Would such a village be possible to generate with a datapack in Java Edition? Maybe in the jungle edge...

Grian,you should make a Mooshroom Biome Village! For the Villagers, just install a mod that changes the villager's outfit when spawned in Mooshroom Biome.
