When it comes to Saw Gerrera, I think the green looks fine! His actual armor color is a bluish, green, grey sort of color, and I think the color Lego went with was the best they had.
Do you not understand that the dark green is the closest color match Lego has in their inventory? Anything else would’ve looked way worse than this, and they weren’t going to make an entirely new color for a single figure. Lego Star Wars fans really don’t understand what the word “compromise” means whatsoever
Saw Gerrera definitely has a green hue in Rogue One which is what this fig appears to be based off of. Maybe if they had a dark greenish teal color, but they picked the best from the available LEGO colors.
@@TheFirstCurse1you’re colorblind as shit then if you think he’s clearly all gray. Look up any reference image of saw from rogue one and you’ll see his armor is a very dark teal color, aka a mixture of green and blue. The dark green isn’t 100% accurate, but considering the colors Lego has available, this was the best fit.
This set is awesome! I had the original from 1999, but this is a big step up. Always good to get a Darth Maul minifigure! They even have the double red lighsaber even if the scene in the movie didn't have that.
oof disagree here- not once have I heard saw being a controversial figure. the pre render was just the wrong color due to it being a shitty leak. this might be my fav figure this year. saw is for sure dark green in rouge one hehehe. Qui gons legs printing is terrible per usual, but the toe print is really nice, as we usually don't get toe printing on jedi. maul face print is super silly, but yeah- why no cape and hood!
every photo you showed us to prove saw isn’t green, shows his armor has a green hue to it🤣 sure he’s not full on green but he definitely has some colour to him
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but he giant bump on top of the Sith Infiltrator is twice as offensive to me as the "beer bellies" on sets like Obi Wan's star fighter or the Republic fighter tank.
Qui-gon looks great, a good upgrade. The printed top for the ship, and no stickers is a great move. This is one of those sets I would pickup if it gets put on a good discount. 49.99 feels about the right price for this, so if I see it for lower than that I will pick one up.
I’m so confused now why box size matters. What a weird thing to complain about, the new falcon I just got the box is big but only 11 bags and is big for no reason…
8.5/10 is a bit TOO generous imo. A ship that looks off on one side and good on the other overall looks far worse than a ship that looks off all around. I understand they wanted to fit the probe droid mechanism in, but they could've done a better job. Saw in green actually looks pretty good despite being inaccurate. I assume they did make a grey version but it looked too dull and bland, and I don't mind him being green at all. Though for 70$, the set is overall not worth it/
Please disable auto white balance in your camera. When the balance constantly fluctuates throughout the video, it is very difficult to watch. And the blue (gray?) background is unfortunate, I would take a black one if possible.
Every single picture you just showed of Saw Garerra, his armor is a muted green. LEGO doesn't have a dark sand green, so this is the best they could do. No other color would have looked as good. Dark gray? Nope Dark blue? Definitely not. Amazing how many people can't see this.
They have a very very slight green tone that’s borderline not even noticeable. So if he’s clear more grey then green why make the figure more green then grey
@@fivelonelycloneswe need to let them know right now... they can't make young Anakin anymore either because he WAS A SLAVE! and by extension Darth Vader... can't make him anymore, quite a problematic figure, I mean he killed ...younglings!!
@@fivelonelyclones ehhh this feels like misinformation. Jabba owns slaves too and they're making a whole UCS set for him. More likely explanation is his mold. Jabba is more reusable and justifies a mold whereas Watto would be a one and done. Not saying I agree with that decision, but it makes a ton more sense from LEGO's angle.
@@FabuBriknah this is why they won’t make him. Same reason they’re calling slave leia “hutt slayer leia” in the sail barge. Nothing to do with the mold from everything I’ve heard
Bruh no saw is green in andor how the fuck does everyone get this shit wrong how are you people always raving about accuracy and then you don’t get something like this right
I also dislike Saw being Green. For the people saying that he has a Green tint, he has no Green at all to hin. And I hate that they took Maul's pupils. It's not as bad as that Palpatine figure but it's still bad.
