While I see the value in this set (there's lots of good!) I just don't think this set is for me. So happy to have a Fives minifigure! But at what cost?!

Personally, I'm glad this set isn't part of the diorama line. If it were, it would've come with a black outlined base build that would have jacked up the price of the set another $30 like all the diorama sets 😂

Great review! 👏🏼 I have the Luke and Dark Trooper set, so picked this up as soon as it was available. I like your diorama idea. Thinking I might try doing something similar for both sets. 🙂

Thanks for the review, it helped convince me it is for me, I am certainly going to get it but planning to wait for a May 4 or double points promotion. This scene was a favorite of mine from the end of Rogue One! And I didn’t realize the door was actuated and the figures explode off, that only makes it better for me, thanks for the entertaining videos and content!

very nice review, I like your nuanced take on it. How did you feel about the Dark Trooper set? I see this as the same thing and I bought a few of those to make it more of an enclosed diorama set

I think this set really shines when you get a second one and build it in reverse to display just the back wall. I am probably going to get a second one.

I do want to get the set. I would prefer to purchase multiple sets to build a full interior but, that would take dozens of sets... I can't blame LEGO for my obsession. If only there was an Imperial Star Destroyer bridge set in a few years. I'm kind of wondering if anybody out there stacks their Star Wars hallway scenes, would that even work?

I got two of them, will combine them into one diorama... adding R2D2 and C3PO passing one of the doors in the middle of the battle... will need some parts, though... :P

I love mine. Even though they weren't in that specific spot in the hallway I added in the second door Leia R2-D2 and C-3PO and it really completes the scene for me.

why buy two when you can buy 4 and then combine it with 4 more and you will have a crazy long hallway after you combine it with another 8 sets!

The hallway is such an awkward shape, and each mini figure has a decently noticeable flaw, except Vader. Probably will pass on this one.

I feel like Lego is a bit lazy. It would be nice if they release digital instructions for a mirror build. That way you can add the second set and create a great display.

Depends. You can still use the hallway as a generic hallway to display fives or other clones. Thrn you could resell the other figures. You could look for an OG trilogy fan who doesnt want fives and split the cost. Or you could buy fives from bricklink. Personally, I really like the hallway and will keep it. I'll probably sell the other figures.

@@jeansversion don't be too harsh. I don't think it's meant in a bad way. It's just compliment and its probably just meant to put a smile on your face. Some people just like to cheer others up. Especially if they are into the same hobby^^

@ilsgrade8537 It was not a compliment. It is only a compliment if I take it as one, and all I did was politely set a boundary and let them know comments on my appearance are not welcome. The real compliment was them telling me my video was great.
