LEGO Star Wars Imperial V-Wing Starfighter 7915 Review 

At least they included the R2 body, differently from the old V-wing.

I use the imperial V-Wing Pilot Head For A Shadow Trooper

The V-Wings were also seen escorting Palpatine's Shuttle when they landed at the Medical Station with injured Anakin Skywalker at the end of Episode 3.

The Pilot's head piece is nice looking. Thats probably the reason why I would buy this set.

I remember I got 3 of these for my birthday in 1st grade, ended up taking them back should’ve kept them all😂😂

Your lucky to get the first of the LEGO Star Wars sets of 2011. It has to be cool to see them in person. BUt out of all the ones that I seen that you made so far would be this, the 7915 Imperial V-Wing. I hope to get them when I get to go to the LEGO Store again. The Droid Is R2-Q2 Not R2-Q4!

@darkbandit27 yes, for like 2 seconds, but they were the red and grey ones. But then closer to the end of the film, there is a black v-wing flying towards the Venator/Imperial Star Destroyer

the head actually has eyes! freaking awesome I am getting one!

@TheFg1980 No, but I guess it would make sense, mainly because the Empire also has Advanced Recon Commandos(ARCs)

@EyeEatPeople I would recommend the Battle of Naboo but that only goes for people who wanna build up your droid army, get this if you want to just have a starfighter :)

the imperial V-wings also appear in the beggining or the end of the scene of Padmé's funeral, I think at the ending, they fly next to the building, I'm not sure if they are Imperial V-wings but they might be.

what i do is i take off the upper back engine disk and you can carry Q2's body using the legs as boosters if it suits you!

That Helmet goes well for a Shadow Clone Pilot

this is also in battlefront 2 on both clone and imperial so it can be used for clones and in ep. 3 when the shuttle is bring anakin to become darth vader the escort shuttles are v-wings

@momlovesherkids5 Yeh, its a good set with good mini figures, but it contains a little amount of pieces so build time is short

ill pick this up, but three things i dont like 1. no place to put R2 body 2. no place to put gun 3. i wish they sticked with black, faceless head and then a full helmet or at least a full helmet and skin colored face like clones.

@stargate12345678 maybe that's because lego has to ship the lego across the ocean over to austrlia when in the US just has to shp it to stores.

Battlefront 2 =']... such good memories. But the Elite difficulty was much better than the Hard difficulty from the first... it was like facing aimbots. Anyway thank you for the review.

@senatecommando25 what you are not taking into consideration is that is IS a LIMITED EDITION set, therefore he will still rare-ish

And yes, you can use the V-WING in Battlefront 2, but only as the Republic.

this was going to be my fav set but it isnt any more since the droid has to die just to be inserted into the ship

i think they should include 2 of the r2 q2 heads so you can have one built up and one on the v wing

the v-wings are seen twice : once when anakin got rescued and got transformed and once befor thhe daethstar scene

i got this on clearance at walmart for $16.was looking at buying this set.

at least he gets the hole body. In the starfighter and vulture droid set you just get a r2d2 head! HA HA!

you know what you should to? you should take all the clone wars jedi, take a pic of each and put them in a video to show which jedi have been made (even anikans second form from the ice planet)

to be honest (and i'm just being a nerd now) but landing mode is actually when the wings fold in

i like this because it is awesome, man and buy it and one more is lego ninjago cole spinner.

they have the sound of a tie fighter in episode III

I don't think the piece at 4:46 is new, I think it was used in the batcave in the lego batman theme

omg this set is the same AS this set back in 2007 for the 501 legion clones but this one has difference color

it looks good for a sabre cockpit

they did exactly the same thing with the old v wing except you werent given the body but with the new one you are and i really thought that they should have included the droid body in the old republic one

Cool set, they got everything fixed that was wrong with the older v-wing.

I have a v-wing and it is in 2 part in episode 3 one before darth vader gets his make over and before he is the star destroyer.

I'd replace the Imperial markings and use it for my Republic SpecOps

Cutting off the head IS lame. They should've made better landing gear... Great review!!

Ya they use the red one as bombers in battlefront 2

i just won't put the head in the ship simples the ship is quite cool and looks like a sith type starfighter

Hey in the old set the pilot didn't come with legs because the cockpit they had designed at that time was too small to have a full body in it. I'm a big fan of Lego (I'm 15 ) and a great scrap creator I made a ak-47 out of the imperial star destroyer because it's was missing a few important parts that at that time they would not send to me in the mail. But I have to thank you for showing the t-6 Jedi cruiser because I couldn't decide what I should get out of the new sets. It took me 15 min to

if they would have made it to fit the entire droid,the wings mechanism wouldn't work

I put the clear stud in frount and have r2's body with a stud on it
