Sig definitely had an arc; at the beginning of this story, he had known he had the force for several years but was ignoring the call to adventure, content to stay home where everything was safe and predictable and too afraid to hang out with the girl he liked. At the end of this adventure with Jedi Bob, he had accepted that his galaxy was gone forever, was ready to see what was out in the galaxy no matter how unpredictable it might be. It's the tried and true Star Wars story of a youth leaving home for the first time and going on their own adventure instead of just reading about the adventures of others.
Crime Boss Grogu was never something I thought I wanted but here we are, lol. This was so much fun - I laughed too hard at some of it (Maul humming the Duel of the Fates was so damn good) and I hope they do a 2nd season!
One of the best parts of the entire thing. I was wondering: When are Mando and Grogu going to play a role in this? How have they been altered? All that was missing, was a glass of Colt 45.
Thing I love about the ending is that a. It opens up an unlimited number of possibilities and doesn’t have to conform to the star wars canon. It’s basically free rein for future stories. Whereas previous lego star wars films all had to fit into the skywalker saga timeline to an extent b. The entire story is essentially the idea that this is a kids own star wars adventure being played with their lego sets. its a great story and narrative with the sandbox of a toy box. Which for a ‘what if’ kinda show is perfect
My 14 year old daughter is a huge fan of Kit Fisto. He is her favourite character from the Clone Wars and her favourite member of the Jedi council. She was excited to hear Phil Lamarr came back to voice him. 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Some of Lukes lines felt like a meta commentary on the legends continuity vs the disney one. About some things being better and some worse, but still worth fighting for.
Imagine walking into Rebuilding the Galaxy as just a fun 4 part adventure and coming out experiencing some of ... No, the best Star Wars content we had is an actual decade. Unique animation, clever concepts, jaw dropping fights, an actual interesting plot, references to the source material, beloved characters in new roles and most impressive of all ... making Rey relevant.
This story is really about us, the fans. How we attach to the original story and find it difficult to understand or accept these new ways of star wars. It's a perfect, comical metaphor that seeks to reconcile the generations that live in this galaxy far far away.
10:24-10:27 I don't know if anyone noticed this, but Maul was humming "Duel of the Fates" when he exited the ship. 23:16-23:31 That female prisoner behind Greedo is Mon Mothma, not a female version of Anakin nor another Leia. 24:51-25:02 Even though the Separator turned Fennesa back into how it was before, it's not the same. That's why Sig said it's just a copy of a memory. I really enjoyed seeing your two react to the second half of this LEGO Star Wars miniseries.
6/10. I laughed at most of the jokes and some of the visuals were neat but the story didn't grab me, especially the finale. Hopefully kids love it but I feel like I've seen better Lego Star Wars specials. They had a ton of fun with the mixing and matching and that's really what I appreciated the most and kept me watching all 4 episodes.
In the lego life day special rey uses some crystal or something to travel back in time maybe they could use that to travel back to the point before all changed
An X-wing fuselage with TIE solar collector wings shouldn’t inherit engines *or* weapons from either ship. Always the funniest Ugly variant for that reason.
LFG again!! Sig went from zero to hero like Luke Skywalker, handling the saber and the force like a champion despite little training. Also, TLJ reference when they force tug the cornerstone is a nice touch. His brother really gave out Kylo vibes. This entire series is now my favorite, and Lego Star Wars in general is stupidly fun. Seeing Servo sacrifice himself is noble, but sad 😢.
Thanks to Kyle, Bendu and Nerd Chronic! 🧱 I hope we get plenty more alternate reality stories like this... even in live-action, someday. 🔸 In the meantime, may everyone in our galaxy calm their inner Breaker and embrace their inner Builder.
