Not only did the two dragoons destroy the bunker, they also managed to navigate the map somewhat intelligently, that broke my suspension of disbelief far more than the bunker.
2 Dragoons destroying a bunker then killing everyone inside: that's when my suspension of disbelief was hindered. But, besides that, an impressive video.
+aruan7sp Well, since the bunker only contained 2 ranged units, I suppose it's possible for 2 dragoons to kill the bunker and its units with enough micro.
This was perfect, until two Dragoons beat 1 bunker, 2 marines and 2 firebats without dying. Also, Goliaths can't throw missiles to buildings. Very good nevertheless.
+mountedantman10 Alright genius, you can CLEARLY see that the bunker is shooting at the dragoons, so there's no "outrange". And I'm pretty sure that even if they outrange the bunker, one of the dragoons could easily perish against 2 marines and 2 firebats with focus fire. The "noob" weapon can give a big recoil, if it's used wrong.

This is literally one of the best things I have EVER seen. But, uh, two Dragoons can't take out a Bunker, and Goliaths don't shoot missiles at ground enemies.
Cray Play I know you're just joking, but for the sake of an argument--- one of the sound clips that this video uses is the Adjutant saying "Abandoning auxiliary structure". This is from a Brood War campaign mission, so the video was made loooong after the beta :P

well the dragoons stupid as they were, were standing in melee range (though for some weird reason the 2nd marine choose to move forward as well when the first line fell...)
In a Starcraft 2 game once I had 1 carrier out really fast, but rushing for that cost me an effective defence force, so I had one sentry make a bunch of holograms of it and duped the enemy player into thinking I was cheating somehow and he ragequit.
Nobody here will possibly be able to make even 1 second of this animations but everybody is just so smart and such a critic that I cannot believe what I see. Be glad that somebody just made this awesome animation and stop being salty about everything.
DanTHEman What do you mean by "stole"? The end credits are still there in the video, everyone knows who made it, and the original video is still there on the original author's channel. You could as well say that Machinima "stole" his video, since they don't even link to his channel. Or that RU-vid "stole" it by putting their ads on every copy of this video.
Brilliantly done! seriously 10/10 for effort, 10/10 for special effects, 10/10 for sound editing and 8/10 for realism (those dragoons would have died at the bunker, goliaths only shoot rockets vs air units and the CC would have lived longer). Will recommend to a friend!
Oh man. Good job on this animation of not only a classic game that i use to play and love the sequel, but also using Lego's, something that almost everyone has played with and loves. Nicely done 8)

But what REALLY prevents them from shooting missiles at ground units. It's a game mechanic, of course, but it's perfectly plausible. Either way, -1 for continuity to the game, which puts this video at a 5/5. Would Lego Again.

Mega Bloks owns the StarCraft license. They are a competitor to LEGO and their bricks are compatible with LEGO bricks. They did release a StarCraft BattleCruiser set, although it's super expensive.
I kept thinking "nice, this is fairly accurate to the game, well made" but then Goliaths started attacking buildings with missiles and I questioned what reality even was anymore. Also, those 2 dragoons couldnt kill a bunker, much less the marines inside, unless they had full armor upgrades (weapon upgrade would be irrelevant) .. but at this point in the game, impossible! And firebats without an academy? wtf? x3

when seeing this video i get shivers/goosebumbs and remember my childhood! i have played this game so much, it is a truly masterpiece. pity noone plays this anymore :(
Even though this isn't meant to be realistic or serious (but still bucking awesome!) I do have to point out that Goliaths don't use their missiles to attack land targets, they use their auto cannons.
I like how everybody is questioning the Dragoons razing a Bunker with no effort, but nobody wonders how did the Protoss manage to warp in 4 Carriers in less than a 5 minutes.
I'm 29 and I like to collect Lego sets and I'm a big fan of StarCraft I think from a business standpoint blizzard entertainment would do very well I wish they would release a line of LEGOs

I knew that supply depot wasn't gonna make it the moment it was built there... Maybe the base could of been saved if the Golioths were using their missiles on the Couriers instead of the pylons lol
