Robin, one of your most creative builds in my humble opinion. The awning and produce area are the icing on the cake for sure. I hope you occasionally step back and give yourself a pat on the back. You truly bring joy to many my friend. Thank you. Given that you like feedback, I would recommend raising the car-ride token mechanism up using the lightsaber piece. Do you think some of your remaining stickers would work on the back sides of the building?

the old looking 'tree comes to life' newspaper is maybe a reference to your scary tree!

Really love this moc. I’ve recently converted mine to a record store and cafe but a supermarket is still on my wishlist for the city. This is a great moc and very inspiring :)

Nothing was more satisfying when that panel just slipped right in🤌

May I suggest swapping out the grey element in front or the car to red. This will make it look more like it's part of the ride and also would look like a step to get in and out.

I really like the man crying over spilt milk. That was a great touch 👍

Excellent MOC! Just one suggestion, Replace the grey square brick above the pink corner piece with a white circular tile,same piece as your spilt milk!

Wonderful MOC as always, two recommendations for the coin slot move it forward one stud and use a red brick under it to raise it up off the ground a little. Second I think it would look cute if you move the dog next to the spilled milk like he is trying to drink it (or consider a cat even).

It turned out so great. Love the design of the whole thing. Maybe you can put the coin slot for the car thingy outside a bit higher up.

The shop really reminds me of those small town shops where they have only pulled out the walls for windows and left the top alone.

With all the criticisms I have about this I think this is by far your most detailed MOCs and it’s got some build techniques I wouldn’t think of. I think your custom carrots 🥕 do look better than the official pieces. That was smart to tinker with the innards to squeeze in that panel to hold those baguettes 🥖

I just love how you take something LEGO designed and make it your own. Turned out great, one thing that could be added, is an advertisement above the ATM

Looks great, love the colorful build. No real big amendments but maybe put the coin slot a bit higher on a 1x1 brick or pole. And you could add a cat enjoying the spilled milk and the dog can keep an eye on the cat.

Really like this building, especially the canopy! One suggestion: use a rectangular fencing in the right corner og the balcony, the round one doesn’t fit. One idea: maybe add another square level between the super market and the balcony level.

Looks great, the only thing is the coin slot for the car ride. Is there room to put in on a pole so that it is at a more usable height? Thanks so much for all your awesome videos.

the baguettes in the corner are brilliant. the car outside is neat, and I love the spilled milk inside joke. the whole build a the end is amazing.

Turned out great. I love the fruit marked, reminds me of the lego Factory Market Street 10190. The baguettes were a nice addition. If you want disassemble the entire corner again, you could fit a dark blue tile under there to continue the stripe from the rest of the bakery stand, haha. If it were attached with a jumper plate, it could even be placed flush with the refrigerators. The rounded corner of the building and awning is really nice. If you got a rounded tile lying around, I would probably swap the sharp corner poking out. Looking forward to seeing it in the city.

Yes, we also use the “Spilled Milk” idiom in the US! I love this build so much Robin! Fantastic!

I was going to suggest adding a flower stand outside but there already is a lot of stuff on the outside. But maybe consider it.

I love the fruit and veg display, it's so colourful and also realistic with what you'd see outside a shop. Maybe the coin slot for the car ride could be on the back of the car instead of the tile that's already there? I think at least some of those rides have the slot on the bit where the kid sits rather than on the base. Also, could the guy with the split milk also have just bought a box of cereal?

For the crate with the bananas; could you add a spider! It could be a fun little scene with the store assistant running away in terror (understandably) from it! This is looking fantastic - full of everything I’d expect from a supermarket 😊

What a fantastic build. I love the outside fruit and veg in particular, but the whole thing is great - and I'm saying that as someone who isn't overly fond of stickers or bright awnings! You've definitely hit the Density quota with this one.

This is probably my favourite thing you have done. Certainly want to build this myself after I have finished my own very first MOC.

The super market really does pop. I like everything about it. Looks like a cross between a co-op and and a green grocer's shop.

I'm late to the party but this is probably your best yet! I would only change two minor things. The coin slot seems to be very close to the ground, I would raise it up a bit so that the poor Minifigures don't have to crawl on their knees to pay. And finally, the spilled milk could be substituted with the white cloud-shaped baseplate that came with the Unikitty sets.

This build is one of the most detailed spaces I have seen created in Lego. You really have done a fantastic job, from the clutter to the stickers, to the color choices, all were made deliberately and culminate in an absolutely wonderful creation chock full of details.

Wonderful! Love the awning. Great ideas in your use of carrots and chili peppers! Maybe add some lights inside to illuminate some of the great details.

What a wonderful build, it looks amazing! For the outside car it might be cool to use a 1x2 hinge block (like you used for the fruit/veg boxes) and a 1x2 jumper plate on the inside and instead of a child minifig use a baby. That would make it super clear that he isn’t holding the car up. That being said I think it looks amazing as is!

Robin you should put some bike tiles on the roof to make a swimming pool

You could MoC up a delivery van with a pair of operatives actively delivering/unloading one of the spare crates of fruit in the “extended” street scene within the city. Maybe they’ve dropped some watermelons and they’ve gone rolling down the road. I love your fruit and veg crates outside.

You should get the sighns from your donut fancy shop for the bakery section and make a billboard for this in your city. This build has finaly stopped keeping me up at night😂😂😂

I´m amazed about your building and designing abilities every time. I wasn´t a fan of the dark red stripe at first, but I like the story behind it. And I have to agree: It would look like that in real life. We use the "cry over spilled milk" saying in Germany, too, by the way.

The baguette corner…very fine work. Looks great overall. As you took a challenge, the gray tile on the corner of the first floor, where it meets the pink corner slope with a few different tiles the sharp corner could be avoided. It may only be me but once I saw that I couldn’t unsee it. Again, fantastic build, amazed by the details you manage to fit!

On top of your supermarket you should put the beatles on the roof to have the reference of get back

A fantastic build. Certainly one of your best. One suggestion would be to change the legs of the child in the ride to springy legs such as from the basketball sets so you can spring him forward and back.

Looks amazing Robin 🤩! Fun fact - I live very close to a cannery that specialises in pineapples, so I regularly see freight trains filled with mountains of pineapples go past. Would love to see a pineapple freight carriage! Unfortunately, the smell of cooking pineapples is decidedly ‘fart-like’.

That awning absolutely completed the whole aesthetic of the build, I adore the final result, looks really polished and detailed

It looks so good all put together, love the idea that the market was an addition to an older building. What if the second floor of the building had a bit of a food court tied to the market, and patrons could eat their lunch out on the balcony.

Another brilliant moc Robin, all those stickers, baskets of fruit and veg and the awning all look fantastic. One suggestion I would make is to add a tread plate sticker to the step in front of the car so as it looks like a step up into the ride.

The fresh produce display out front is fantastic. Glad you were able to get the "spillage scene" into the build in a way that it could be seen, but if you hadn't been able to it would have been ok. Not like we should cry over spilled milk. I'm on the fence about stickers, they can be very useful, but I understand why people say both that they are hard to work with or lazy. I think your use of them shows how well they can be used. I agree with John Vocatura that the change machine for the kiddie ride needs to be raised. Can't imagine being a mum with a kid and shopping bag and purse and then trying to bend over that far to put the coin in the slot down at ground level. I truly like the awning. My only though on it is that it is a bit shallow, not really providing any shade for the produce. But I'm not sure if you could have made it deeper and still tied it into the magenta quarter round dome piece. It has been a real treat watching you design and build this MOC. This moc is amazing. Really is. The Market on the first / ground floor definitely feels like a renovated space but looks so realistic to actual corner store settings down to the little details like the ATM, the ride, the fruit stand.... everything came together so well. Congrats on another awesome design and build, Robin!

I absolutely love your supermaket! I'm actually thinking of modifying my own corner garage. 👍🏻 The only amendment I would suggest is, I would rais the coin slot next to th mini car by one brick. At least in Switzerland those slots are not right on the floor. 😉

That 2x2 grey tile sticking out right above the pink awning could be replaced with a 2x2 round tile. That should hide the bit sticking out.

What a stunning build! I can't explain how much I love the ride and the gumball machine. The fresh produce and weighing sections are also looking great! This store really reminds me of a local supermarket nearby my house. Anyway I can't wait to see it in Brick Nottingham and where you decide to place it! And for the placement, I think it's time the Grand Emporium is moved out. It would just look so good there

Awesome build as usual! Set 31105 contains a child's ride side-build with a neat mechanism for the ride movement. Space allowing, maybe look into borrowing the workings of that ride. Maybe some brown paper bags for the veggies near the scales. Top work all round!

Ah ha .. the first ba-doing was mine.. yaaaaayy. I like the stickers. I would prefer prints over stickers but the stickers have an advantage of being able to go on any piece. This store looks amazing. This whole build is giving me fast food corner vibes. That was the build u started on when I first subscribed so I guess I feel like I've come full circle now... Robin … this is simply a spectacular build!! I am in the planning stages of creating a similar MOC (although much smaller) so, this was a very inspiring vid to watch in preparation for that. The awning looks great, and I love that idea of using orange unicorn horns for smaller scale carrots! The baguette bin is a terrific solution too!

Absolutely fabulous build! The awning and stickers really are the icing on the cake. Love the fruit and veg outside as well - maybe a little stack of baskets next to that would be helpful? Additionally with the car ride, the money slot looks too low down, can you bring it up to the height of the car or even higher - either a standard brick or on a little post. I also wonder whether an old-style coin (I’m thinking 80s Pirates) would rest in the slot?

Finally getting around to watching this series... I did have an amendment The dark pink and white awning might look better if you double up the colors so it's two pink then two white and so on. Might help match the thicker pink corner pieces. I know it's a bit late sorry.

Yay! I got the kid and dog right! the vegetable stand outside looks awesome! Due to the height of the whole building, placing it where the boutique hotel is now would block the rest of the scenes at the back part of the city. it might be better to place it in a corner of the room nearer to the walls, like where the grand emporium is. Great job as usual 😊👍
