LEGO Telephone Box!? Backlog Built & Placed! 

Nice video Jordan. For those who haven’t visited the UK, note that these red boxes were standard across the country, not just London. Cell phones have made nearly all of them redundant, of course. However, many villages have purchased their red telephone boxes for a nominal sum in order to preserve the heritage scene. A lot of them now contain public defibrillators or even little libraries decorated with flowers. They are all well looked after.

My favorite ideas built so far was the insects. They look so good and was very fun to build

I love the astronaut. The gold part of the helmet looks so neat, and I love that you can put a mini-fig inside. The bridge didn't bother me, but it definitely looks better now, so that was a nice change. You guys were busy building!

I have lived in London and the Lego red telephone box is absolutely iconic!

Telephone box is gonna be a day 1 purchase for me, been looking forward to that since it got approved. I might try and MOC mine to reflect the common practice these days of using old telephone boxes as a place to locate a public access AED!! Now if they can just do a matching Blue Police Telephone Box in a similar scale 😉🤣

Most of the red telephone boxes are being replaced now as book swaps, defibrillator locations and I've been seen one as a coffee shop!

This will be an easy day 1 pick up for me with the Lego Ideas Red London Telephone Box as I'm from the UK.

Nice use of post production to add the Telephone Box on the desk along with the other actual Lego boxes. Can tell from the lack of shadow on the desk and how he doesn’t put his hands on the box, only behind-indicating the layer was added in post.

Id use the double arches and widen small section add a watermill and like fishing pond. Keep up the great work bricksie i know your grinding hard right now with everything your doing n having to deal with. I really appreciate your work ethics n i believe people are learning great things from your work.

I know you’re getting a new space but I would definitely recommend getting glass doors on your displays since you have so many sets. It’s what I’m planning to do when I move out 😊

Nice Blog, still see a lot of these phone boxes in the villages of the UK. No longer used as phone boxes but most have been purchased by the village and used for Defibs, exchange libraries or free WiFi points.

I like the British Telephone Box. Lego needs to do one for the Old Phone Booths that were in the United States.

You should open up the black falcon symmetrical castle you made and turn it into an epic wall fortification and use the other castle as the castle keep. Then you would have 2 epic castles in the layout, and you can throw in the forest men as a third army agitator. 🤔

Been waiting since i first saw the promi. Brings back memories from when i went to school in England. Allegedly, you can buy a real old one at auctions. I would have loved that but how to transport to the US with robbing a bank😂😂😂

Hi! I think if the Expecto Patronum build was entirely in transblue and white colour whould be AWESOME!!! Given the fact that in the movies all the expecto patronum charms were pretty much transparent! I wonder, could we find the same pieces from this set in transblue and build it all transblue and maybe some white?

I like how the emergency phone numbers in the phone box are the set numbers for the police station and the fire brigade

Hi Jordan, has your LAN status been reinstated? Having worked in London for many a year most phone boxes are doused in piss, with a sprinkling of chlamydia, so not a true representation, but whatever works 😂

The Astronaut isn't wearing a "backpack" - it's an EVA unit - that's what they use to move around outside of a ship/station in space.

I mean I like the Brickston bit- for those who don’t know there is an area in South London called Brixton, it’s part of the borough of Lambeth. But the rest of the street sign is rubbish. There isn’t an SC1 postcode in London. Anyway back to the missed opportunity, London has the perfect street name they could have used…..BRICK LANE, E1 in Tower Hamlets! Why didn’t they just use that? I imagine because of IP rights issues (each London borough has its own street sign design and is copyrighted I believe) but still! 🤔🤷😂 And if it’s a sticker, why not include multiple real street signs to allow you to customise it. Not hundreds but at least the most well known London streets- Abbey Road being the obvious, Baker Street perhaps for Sherlock fans?, Portabello Road for Notting Hill lovers? 03:32 and those numbers are completely inaccurate for a U.K. phone box. 555 has been introduced as a non emergency number alternative to 999 (UKs equivalent of 911), but that only happened a couple of years ago and unlikely to see it in an old phone box like they show it there as the alternative.

Its actually a Britain phone box. Its not exclusive to london so lego are a bit wrong here. They was all over the uk and some still are but now they have defibrillators inside them. Some are protected and stand for historical reasons

always a lovely and professional video Bricksie.... as much as i love the phone box set, i have a few niggles, the proportions seem off to me, ie the wall bricks, planter and hanging planters, i know the set is all about the phone box itself, I'm just drawn to those other bits first... however the phone box is a great replica with all the details too :))

Definitely not a phonebox from around where I live in the uk. Most have their doors missing, side windows smashed in and in most the phone receiver has been cut off. That’s a British phonebox 😂
