At 22 years old Lebron made it to the finals and got swept. MJ at that same age got swept in the first round. I mean, what you're saying is it would have been better for Lebron to have been swept in the first round instead of going to the finals at that age.
Hesus umm lebron didn’t have an easy road to those finals at all, his work in those conference finals is some of the best of the decade, not his fault he had no second or third option on his team
son goku there hall of fame coach got fired. And Ben Wallace had an injury during that round. Also drew golden of all people had 22 points in game 6 or 7
Come on cuz!! Come on cuz!! Chris don't be one of those people. Everyone love to break down LeBron whole career and every game he was bad in but we just skip to Jordans two three peats but never bring his bad games up or the fact he never got out the first round without Pippen.
If Smoove is correct, Durant will never be the GOAT. He got beat by the Warriors and joined them. Too much focus on LeBron, and he will always be the 2nd best player of all time. It's simple.
marquez768 the argument is who is number 1 as off right now between lebron and KD. Nobody putting KD in the GOAT convo unless they have no real Basketball IQ
Hurt Kobain the Rockets were a bunch of role players around Hakeem and the Jazz had no depth - they started fucking Greg Ostertag. These team would have a tough time making the playoffs today in the West. Several teams with multiple stars and support don't even have homecourt advantage Davis/Cousins, Butler/Towns, Westbrook/George, etc. These guys dont even have a shot vs. Golden State or Houston. The league has way more talent nowadays, your nostalgia is blinding you.
Same thing is in tennis where Djokovic and Nadal are clearly better than Federer, but people consistently say that Federer is the GOAT while using only stats in which Federer is better.
Did you watch the full video because he was stating facts as to why he shouldn't go to warriors then ask your self if you would watch the NBA with a team that stacked knowing the most possible outcome.
@@darkrh5404 yeah and kareem was injured and they didnt have james worthy and byron scott and cooper yet in 1980 When magic carried them in game 6 of the nba finals
But he didn't have to go against mothafukin Kobe and Prime Shaq though. Oh and AI had to beat Vince Carter, Regi Miller and Ray Allen in their primes with his trash team btw.
But Nobody is Calling Iverson the Goat, you people pick and choose what Lebron can be criticized for even tho you bandwagons claim he is the greatest player to ever live.
haters only talk about "bronsexuals" but nobody talks about these Jordan dickriders that can't accept the fact that LeBron is about to be the goat when he retires, if jordan didn't have his shoes he would be irrelevant
Aye Chris Smoove, let it be noted that LeBron was in his fourth season when he got swept, while Iverson was the MVP when he dragged the Sixers to the Finals.
At 22 years of age, LeBron carried the worst team to ever make a finals appearance there. You're really gonna consider him worse because he took a useless team to the finals. You consider that bad for his legacy when it should really be viewed as an outstanding achievement.
So Lebron joining the warrior doesn’t make him the goat but KD doing it and still being the best players on that teams makes greatest in the world(S A Smith 2019 List)
Vegard Bysveen Tronstad Then you probably might have not seen the amount of shit Iverson had to put up with his team. You realize he averaged 31.1 ppg while the second best scoring average on his team was 12ppg 😐.
Brandon Nocera Or in 2015 when Kyrie and Kevin Love got hurt and left him all on his own when he averaged around 30 points and a trip-dub night in, night out
OneLakerNation he bringing old facts of lebron being in the nba for less than 5 years if you speak facts now lebron will never drop less than 30 points in a finals
DC_33 you’re right but he’s bringing up the 07 finals when 21 year old Lebron carried the trash ass cavs team to the finals. How many other 21 year olds you see taking their team to the finals
Allen Mkandawire No, but carrying on about Jordan's 6/6 finals record but ignoring the fact that he missed the finals 9 times is intentionally disingenuous.
Bruh how does anyone hold the 2007 finals against LeBron. His team was garbage no one on his team averaged more than 15PPG what was he supposed to do? He was 22 years old what was Michael Jordan doing at 22 years old tell me what had Michael Jordan accomplished in the playoffs at 22?
Savege 13 LeBron beat the wizards in the first round who had Gilbert arenas and Antawn Jamison. In the second round LeBron beat the nets who had Jason Kidd, Vince carter and Richard Jefferson. In the conference finals LeBron beat the pistons who had billups, rip hamilton and rashers Wallace. Then he played the spurs with Tim Duncan, tony parker and many ginobli all in their prime.
NothingButTheTruth I wouldn’t say he choked either he averaged 22ppg against a prime spurs team I’d say his garbage heap of a team got outplayed by a very superior team
14.9... they also had 4 players scoring in double figures and Daniel Gibson who is a three point sniper but only saw the floor for 16 min shooting 42% from three and another person zinguas shooting 40% from three
why would you bring up the 2007 spurs sweep. LeBron was 23 at the time. The first time jordan even made it to the finals, he was 28 years old. Do we want to exclude these facts smoove?
lol XD the cavs were worse, AI had dikembe mutombo who was still an elite rim protector and rebounder, Mckie was a decent player. The cavs did have Larry Hughes but their bench was egregious
veggi he is just saying that he will not be the goat if he joins gs. There is no point of comparing the other personal stats because they are almost similar. The only thing that he forgot is lebron coming back from 3-1 but that will be forgoten if he joins the cheat code
Sooooo when Durant joined the Warriors, you didn't talk shit about him, but now that it's lebron, you can't stop talking shit. Coincidence the cavs just beat the heat last night? I think not.
Everybody talking about mj and lebron being the goats but the real goat is kareem 6 ring 6 mvps 19 all star 10 all nba first team 5 all nba 2nd team 5 all nba def first team 6 all nba def 2 team 1 in all time scoring 3 all time rebounding 3 all time in blocks
Kareem played in an era where he was ahead of his time. Athleticism overall across the NBA wasn't even in the same realm as it is in NBA today. He is one of the GOATs without question. But, he was one of the first of his kind in a sport that wasn't even close to being as dominant as it is today.
Who’s excluding Jordan’s stats? Lebron has better stats in every category expect for PPG. Jordan has the best career between the two, yes, but, Kareem has a better career than Jordan when it comes to accolades If you are picking teams out of a vacuum, lebron is more talented and gifted than Jordan, he will probably never catch Jordan in championships, but he’s already ahead of him basically everything else.
Taimur Khan correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t he drop 63, the most points ever scored in one game in nba playoff history that series against one of the greatest team of all time as a second year player? Or maybe he was a third year player. I don’t remember exactly was Lebron even making the playoffs in his first two years in the nba?
Rob Austin what are you saying? Jordan was literally 40 years old averaging 20+ a game.. it’s lebron fans who overlook those years and use MJ’s total career stats that COUNT those years
