Thank you so much for this video! I have watched many of your vlogs and as a mum of an autistic little boy it’s so refreshing to have such an honest review. I was on the verge of booking Legoland last night and glad I watched this first. We visited the Lego discovery centre in Manchester last week which he loved but went during term time so it was quiet. We live in Scotland so would have to fly down to Windsor, it’s not cheap at all but to hear the lack of understand and thought of their disability system is shocking and has put me off. My son special interest is Lego and I would love to take him but I know by using this system it would just be hell, completely unmanageable and I wouldn’t manage to keep him safe. He could probably queue 10 minutes at most and although a disability scheme doesn’t allow instant access, I would of hoped this would allow us to spend a couple of days here like any other family. It actually brought me to tears thinking of the boy you mentioned having to be restrained and taken off of the ride, as a parent it’s horrific that a system would allow any child and parent to go through that. Thank you again, I’m so glad I watched this before booking as it would of been a wasted trip for us! X

Hi Amy. So sorry for the late reply. Although we really enjoy Legoland, the Ride Access system is just all wrong. If you're coming a long way to visit we think you'll be disappointed. Glad we could help and you find the video useful

@@clarebarry3094 Amazing! Perfect place to stay for your first time too. You guys are going to have an amazing holiday. When did your partner last visit? You'll be fine with your 2 year old. Just make sure you get plenty of air con around the parks to keep them cool and make sure they're drinking. Fingers' crossed they'll sleep on the plane too so you guys can chill before you land 🤞🏼

Last time he went was 2004, it’s a 10.30am flight so hopefully 2 year old will nap as he still naps in the day, we also have tickets to Mickeys not so scary Halloween so super excited x

@@clarebarry3094 Wow - a lot will have changed since 2004. Bet he's so excited. Yeah, the white noise on the plane should definitely help. Mickey's Not So Scary is so much fun - you'll have enough sweets for a year! 😄

I couldn’t agree more about comparing all theme parks to Florida once you have been there, I have always said once you go to Florida especially Disney, nothing else is good enough. Sad but true. There is only 1 theme park in the UK which is the exception, purely because it is so relaxing, open and beautiful, that is Paultons park which we still go to, not the most thrilling of parks but just enough there to be fun for most of the family but with lots of space and calm to chill in. I love how brutally honest you are about accessibility and great to see you on a vlog again. Xx

@@magicandmemories5871 thanks guys. Yep, Orlando definitely spoils most theme parks in the UK. We actually agree that Paultons is a great park and quite underrated for what it is. Thanks for your comment 😊

Hi Donna,Jake, Matilda (i know she was at school), and Blake Nice to see you guys back for a vlog. Oh my, hasn't Blake grown. I'm glad you had a nice day at Legoland, but for the obvious exceptions. I agree with you that things need to change with the ride set up and the accessibility. Legoland Windsor is not a new park (open 1996) but hasn't learnt to make changes. You imagine how much chaos if the parks in the USA operated this way. I think the Merlin Board needs a swift kick in the butt. It is not always just the £ notes they need to think about. When Universal opens here, watch out Merlin. As Blake got his driving license, he will be driving you all to the airport, lol. Great content as always, and I look forward to seeing you all soon on the next vlog xx

@@chrisb389 thanks for commenting and supporting as always Chris. It was a great day, but there needs to be more effort in updating and future proofing the park, in particular the RAP infrastructure. Also, if we have Blake half a chance, he'd take the wheel anywhere. Lol

I went two weeks ago and found there was two rides which no one was managing the queue. So it took ages and people can just push in. I also found a lot of the days are booked up if you look at the calendar. Some rides also took ages to get through

one thing we dont like with the rap is that you have to join the fast track, they should be different lines

@@TheStephensonGrechFamily definitely! They should be different lines altogether. The infrastructure for individuals with needs and their families just isn't there!
