You don't actually want to pull back against a bite from most things; the proper response to a bite is generally to force the head of whatever is biting you up against something so that they can't thrash and tear any meat and then destroy the jaw or brain.

So I found out at a county fair that police dogs actually are trained using a muzzle (at least in my area)! The idea, much like in Beastars, is to help them become aware of the full set of tools available to take down an offender such as speed and bodyweight (such as using their body like a ram). Thus, they aren't overly reliant on biting and can use the best method for the situation.

@@itsmxtwist, they're related to hyenas, but they are very different. Aardwolves are smaller thsn hyena, have different markings, and have completely different diets(Aardwolves are insectivores, meaning they only eay bugs).

It's supposed to represent Legoshi's carnivorous instincts coursing through his bloodstream, hormones like adrenaline flooding both his muscles and senses. With the right motivation, that's sign of our wolf boy breaking out of his chains and entering fight mode.
Hyenas are their own family. Technically they are closer to felines phylogenetically, but really that just means they are closer to cats than, for example, dogs or bears. It's safer to call them their own thing.
The whole thing about being vegetarian wolf are so stupid tbh. But i get the point of him being vegetarian tho. But still...It's so pointless. In the end of the day he's still a wolf. Not a fking goat.

In some episode we were shown that some meat actually donated to black market iirc (forgive me if im wrong). Idk how to explain this. So the main difference is in the anatomical features. For example, the development of a cranial crest that allows larger muscles to be attached to strengthen the bite. And here, for such a focus on all sorts of features, the characters are not enough furries. Almost all of them have completely human bodies. It is completely unclear where the difference should come from. And it is even more unclear why herbivores are weaker.
