Third most parents showed gender partiality between their own kids which created insecurity in those women minds and getting fair and equal property rights in Tamilnadu is like seeing unicorn. Mostly women will get cheated though if she tried to move legally threat is unavoidable and worst cases she'll get k*lled just for asking her rights... So those women wanted to play safe.
