Very good, simple, and concise. I left calvinism years ago. The chief reasons were, 1 their proof texts such as jn 17 say completely different things in context vs calvinism. There is good reason He didn't 'pray for the world'. He wouldn't and doesn't want unity with the world. Christ wants unity amongst the brethren vs 21 so "that the world may believe..." 2 while much of the church is not intellectual enough, calvinism is too dependent upon books, and scholarship to support it. 3 it reverses the order of regeneration. Drink, eat, to have eternal life, repent unto life, etc. Are the clear teaching of scripture. 4 the most important for me was the distortion of God's character. Majoring upon sovereignty, instead of realizing that every attribute God uses is exercised through holiness (including sovereignty). Calvinism distorts who God is because that god damns people who obey (believe) not the gospel for whom there is no gospel, obviously an unbiblical teaching II THESSALONIANS 1:7-9.
I left Calvinism. You wouldn’t believe the number of so called brothers and sisters who forsook me. I’m thankful Christ will never leave nor forsake me.
I’ve long thought that God chose, predestined to save those who trust in His Son. The Calvinist changes this ever so slightly to mean “God chose, predestined to save some, who then trust in His Son”.
True story: I mostly post scripture in Leighton Flowers RU-vid comment section that is problematic for his doctrinal viewpoint....and he blocked me. Incidentally, he also blocked James White. I figure I'm in good company.

I find this a gross misrepresentation of Calvinism. Sadly it seem Leighton Flowers does not understand the exhaustive foreknowledge of God or the divine plan of God apart from a plan B. The fall is compromised and made to merely a stumble. This did not impede man’s will or desire in a way that caused a bondage that needed the breaking of chains by grace. Man can simply choose. Grace is watered down into a common grace not a saving grace. God forbid. 🙏🏽

@@RobertFurrow Honeslty, I have watched for years. His arguments are canned and on repeat. I prefer seeing him in a debate than a live stream. But still even in a debate he comes across as scripted. Interview with Calvinism and live questions have brought out the best responses. When he is forced to this in the moments the true entailments of his system are exposed. He believes in EDF and OSAS. He doesn’t have a leg to stand on as far as omniscience is concerned. Unsure why so many Open Theists support him AND so many Baptists.
AT 3:33 Leighton professes that man has autonomous knowledge and understanding capabilities by stating "you need to understand both sides." Thats just the opposite of what the Word says. God says ONLY the sons of God who've been born again from above and have the Spirit can understand Truth. Leighton does NOT understand anything other than Self Deterministic eisogesis from his first birth.
