Lol same! I kept freaking out when the chick's mom kept cornering me in the room. Stuck on that ship forever! Finally came back to it years later with the cheat guide. This game to a 10 year old without understanding sexual innuendo sparked A LOT of curiosity in young minds :) Favorite part is still the animation of the Grotesque Gulp!
this game was a bit scary/dark comparing to other larry games. i had the collection one and it didn't have adlib sound. and it was nearly impossible to finish even with walkthrough. i had to start over the game just because of the "mamma" part.
Even this is my least favorite Larry game it is fun to watch. This is just too hard and many things just don’t make sense so it is almost impossible to finish without help. My best larry games are: 1,3,7,6,5 and 2… Maybe they tried to make a lot of different game than the first so it came like this. This also sold less than others Larry’s. Al Lowe said that sex sells. This has it too little 😁 But a great fun to watch this and super cool 80’s groove on it 👍👍👍
the 3rd one was the hardest for me, when they changed the interface to icons it got easier, but I liked the challenge. I wish they made games like this today retro style.

I'm convinced this game is almost impossible to beat without a guide. I'm in my late 20s, been playing classic adventure games for years and I had so many moments where I just wanted to give up in this game. So many moon logic puzzles and dead ends
@@RunplaysinHD Right you are. I accidentally found out about Leisure Suit Larry by playing the Police Quest games. I think it was in Police Quest 2 when you meet Larry Laffer in the airport before boarding the plane. I asked my dad about Larry Laffer and he said he was the main character in some "raunchy" game franchise called Leisure Suit Larry and said I couldn't play those until I turned 18. Of course, I didn't wait. About a year later, I went to the local computer store (Compucentre) and ordered the Leisure Suit Larry Collection. The funny thing was, they didn't even attempt to prevent me from buying it, even though I was only 12 at the time. I do remember going to pick up the collection when it finally arrived at the store. The salesman had the biggest, funniest smirk on his face when he realized what I was buying. I'll never forget that.
and it was really stupid. at the first time i waited because larry was in the ship and i thought it was going somewhere and later i understood that there was a timer to do the things on time or the game was impossible to win...
@Peter Kazavis quest for glory and gaberial knight are really the only series they did that did not have the bs of the others. can also throw in conquest of the long bow as well.
The Sierra OnLine guys really got carried away with this game. The first Leisure Suit Larry had a few stumpers, but this one looks impossible to figure out without a cheat guide.

it's funny how at the very beginning you need to take that one dollar, and if you type "steal dollar" larry complains that it's against the law, but if you type "take dollar", he's ok with stealing it.

The scene where Larry finds a restaurant but got left out, is an inside joke. Mr. & Mrs. RICH, Mr. & Mrs. FAMOUS, Mr. & Mrs. GATES. Poor Larry got left out and this left him feeling indignant. :(
No matter how quickly I do the segment from entering your cabin and meeting mama to doing all the objectives at the pool, no matter how quick I achieve them I keep getting killed by mama every time I return to the cabin to change into the suit -.-
O sea que hicieron los juegos 1,2,3, 5 , 6 y 7. ¿Pero que paso con el Larry 4? ¿porque no lo hicieron? seguro que los gráficos iban a hacer muy parecidos a este. o simplemente no sabían que escenario poner. o según desde mi perspectiva que el Larry 5 es en realidad el 4. y que el 6 es el 5. Pero lo pusieron como 5.
aunque otros pueden pensar otra cosa de este juego. que nunca existio el Larry 4. yo lo digo como están los gráficos en el 5. no se comparan con los 2 anteriores. el primer juego de Larry el personaje estaba con estos graficos, pero después vi otro igual con los graficos del 6. hicieron 3 versiones. la ultima fue el remake que hicieron.
+NelsonVampire Eso es porque era una triologia en origen la saga y tras eso lo dejaron en paz, aunque se siguio poco a poco en ello en el viejo sistema que usa este juego, pero luego la saga perdio popularidad y esta verison el 4 quedo parada y se le llama la de los discos perdidos porque hubo un incidente asi. Con la salida del remake VGA del 1 gano interes y volvieron a ella y tal, pero le llamaron el 5 para cortar y reempezar en el nuevo sistema y tal.
ah ok gracias. seria buena idea, que hicieran un remake de todos los juegos de Larry Laffer ya que solo le hicieron al primer juego nada mas. estaría bueno un remake del juego 5 y 6 en español.
+NelsonVampire Lo dudo, el 1 es muy famosillo y se puede hacer mas o menos via kickstarter, asi que el resto no va a pasar, creo yo. Del 2 y el 3, es cuestion de tiempo que los fans los adapten al estilo del I VGA, que a muchos nos gusta mas el estilo pixel que otros, como ha pasado con otras sagas como space quest y king quest, maniac mansion, etc..
buen juego en su época pero los gráficos no son muy buenos que digamos. yo digo que tienen que hacer un remake a este como lo hicieron con el primero, Land of the lounge Lizards. también a los demás juegos siguientes, como el: Larry 3, 5 y el 6.

apenas se notan los gráficos se que pueden mejorarlos. como lo hicieron también con Monkey island de pc. que lo vi en RU-vid. Leisure suit Larry 5 ya se empezaban a mejorar mas. los gráficos no serán buenos. pero son mucho mas mejores que el 2 y el 3 en la versión. (VGA). Y VI También una versión muy poco de gráficos del primer juego de Larry. con los Gráficos de este tipo de juego.
