"Shape Up or Slip Out! is the fifth game in Al Lowe's Leisure Suit Larry series and again a classique point&click adventure.
All the events from the previous games are forgotten. Larry is single, and his goal is to capture the interest of various ladies. By sheer coincidence, Larry finds himself on a TV Game Show called "Stallions". He wins a weekend at the Spa Resort, La Costa Lotta. Naturally, there are some beautiful women in the spa who are just dreaming about such a wonderful, handsome man as Larry! Uh... or is it really so? It is the player's goal to find out!

After watching this longplay video of LEISURE SUIT LARRY 6, i got this retrospective feeling, that i should switch on my Amiga 500 and play LEISURE SUIT LARRY 1-5 + 1991 REMAKE, again 😹😸😺👍🕹️. A legendary classic game franchise from Sierra On-Line 😺👍🕹️. Greetings from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.

damn i wish I was old enough to have grown up with games like this. The music alone makes me fall in love immediately, good OST are completely lacking in modern games. This game is still 7 years older than me, and playing it in 2023 kind of feels like a chore. there are a handful of games i used to play as a kid 15 years ago, and they have the same vibe, and i love this feeling of nostalgia, even for a game i've never played before

I grew up as a kid with these games in the 90s and it was exciting! Gaming seemed to make massive leaps forward with every passing year, that's why visually each new Larry game looked so different, they would change the art style to where the tech was at. Magazine stores was our internet back then, that's how we would learn if there was a new game coming out and the games would come in these big boxes with lots of cool things inside....... good times.

I have the original 3.5 disk of "Leisure Suit Larry In: Shape Up or Slip Out". I'm torn about just tossing them, as I clean up old software. Are they worth anything?

You must have missed some points somewhere. In another playthrough I saw, the points counter overloaded and *broke* at the end.

The game may be labeled "adult-only" but the execution never pushes past PG-13. Not that the material needs to be nasty to be funny but the game does suffer from try-hard syndrome. The dialogue and jokes simply don't flow naturally.
