I hope to someday, you have to understand us nerds have a connection to that island, the island is extremely detailed in the computer game, where there are sand dunes in real life they are also in the game, including natural features such as mountains and the salt flats, also historical sites like the theatre. I know it sounds weird but i felt like i had seen the island and had previously been there while you were walking around recording your activities, almost like i had previously visited it in an alterantive life

I met a guy on an I&A server who lived in Paris but grew up on Lemnos. He said it was familiar enough to navigate generally, but nothing was exact. He flew me and a couple others to the rough area his house would have been, which was a garage instead.

This is not a game ;) Thats the real island :P

ACTUALLY that is a high possibility. You see if war between turkey and Greece ever happens a battle here is inevitable. The Lemnos International airport also has Mirage fighters and f16s stationed there and has a good proximity to the Greek/Turkish border. If a war every breaks out then Lemnos along with Cyprus and other Greek islands will be invaded and taken over by the Turks. That’s why I’m making a scenario around this in arma 3 a Turkish/Greek battle on Lemnos. Then I’m gonna set up a bit of time line by saying that after the Turks taken over Lemnos that NATO descides to retake the island for Greece (NATO is on Greeks side because Turkey would be the aggressor in this scenario) and then the citizens of Lemnos would want to break off and form a sovereign republic and Call it the republic of Altis. So then they become their own republic but later in 2035 a civil war breaks out and then arma 3 happens

@@tunners Dude ArmA its an Hardcore military simulator game, and i know what im talking. You wont find any fortnite kid playing ArmA, thats for sure. ArmA its a videogame that severely punishes kiddos pretending that are playing fortnite/call of duty. The numbers you told me are highly exagerated or all of a sudden everybody took an interest in super hardcore videogames with a very, very steep learning curve. Or ( i refuse to believe ), those numbers you told me are the crap "life", "king of the hill" or "survival" servers. If its true, then the people playing on those servers are a disgrace to ArmA communitty and they must feel ashamed to even play on such a server. ArmA is and will allways be a Sim. And those "life" servers are shame. If i was the President of Bohemia interactive i wold shut down those servers and wold focus on the true aspect of ArmA: Mil sim

I haven't heard about that, I sorry for doubting you... but as I read they were spying army camps, in all countries they would have the same conclusion...

They weren't spying... Their cameras were seized and they had photos of a Building that happened to be a militarily building. Regardless, i hope to make the trip some day, seems as if they are trying to be more friendly to travelers.

There isn't any town Kavala on the island! It's probably only at your game... Kavala is in North Greece.

Kavala is Myrina, don't need to be so rude. Almost all town names have been changed!

Kavala it is a city of north Greece, Mirina is the city of Limnos. Open a map.
