Attention, Primal 2 enthusiasts! Get ready to refresh your footwear game with the all-new Primal 3. Designed with your feedback in mind, this latest iteration maintains many of the signature features of the Primal 2, such as a zero-drop platform and wide toe box, while also introducing exciting enhancements.
The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot. It has a wider heel and midfoot to distribute your weight more evenly. The Primal 3 still utilizes our signature IBR outsole for a lightweight, flexible feel.
With fit and feel in mind, we've listened to your feedback and made the Primal 3 available in half sizes across the board, because when it comes to comfort, we believe every inch counts!
Speaking of comfort, our new recycled PU insole takes things up a notch. At 4.5mm thick, its breathable materials ensures comfort in every step.
And fear not, loyal fans - while the Primal 3 boasts exciting new features, we've kept the upper consistent with the beloved Primal 2. That's right - the same unbeatable comfort you know and love, now with even more sizing options to ensure the perfect fit for every foot!

What ive seen the past few years is companies known for comfort and footshaped soles go the opposite way by making their shoes a snugger fit to appeal to a wider audience and lost sight of their original purpose of their shoes. What i see Lems do for Primal 3 is why they are my favourite shoe company. They improved by making the sole wider when they didn't need to. Just goes to show they haven't lost sight of how primal shoes should be. Never change the Primal for the worse because us with wide feet depend on you guys ;)

its regrettably less flexible and imo a step backwards. Really unfortunate. its still a good shoe but i like the 2 more

So far in my life, and I'm 66, every time I find a shoe that I love, they come out in a new improved model that I don't love, and I need to find another shoe company. I sure hope this doesn't happen with the P3, because I sure love the P2. I'll buy one and see. Fingers crossed.

I love Lems! I only wear barefoot style shoes. I have vivobarefoot motus, xero prio, altra superior 5, and several more. Lems primal 2 were among the first pair of barefoot shoes I bought, they are my favorite aesthetically, but the sole was a bit unstable. I bought the primal zen and I love the comfort, but I prefer the look of the primal 2… you’ve combined the two and I’m absolutely thrilled and excited to try a pair.. My only complaint, is the outsole on every Lems shoe I’ve owned, wears out extremely fast. Of all the brands I own, Lems are the only brand that I have to replace after a year of use. It’s too bad, because they are my favorite looking barefoot shoe. Please make a primal with a rubber sole similar to the “grip” versions of your more popular shoes.

The Primal 2 is the only shoe I wear. All 365 days a year. I usually get one year of wear out of them. They actually start wearing right at the top of the big toe, i always get a hole forming around that area. The heal tread also wears unevenly. I'm interested in the 3. Again, I wear 1 pair of primal 2s everyday for one year so I'm down to try the 3 if these improvements help the small issues i have.

Not so sure about this. Thin, light, flexible and zero-drop is everything I want in minimalist shoes. Seems like the P3's are going in the opposite direction in terms of being thicker, heavier, and I assume will be less flexible. I switched from these to Xero's for running duties last year. May have to look at Xero's to replace these for daily wear duties, as well.

I agree, they are starting to look a bit bigger. However he still did the rollup test. I only wear primal 2 shoes, I mean literally everyday. So I will be able to tell of these 3s are different.

@@OriginalTodzilla Not sure if you got a pair of Primal 3s but, speaking from experience, they are a totally different shoe. Not flexible at all and they are quite heavy and clunky on the foot. That roll-up test was BS, as well. They don't bend like that at all.

have their boulder boot mid and had to return for a 1/2 sz up even after going up 1 sz like recommended...buying these online still has me guessing and the closest Lems seller is 70 miles away (a long way for a pair or 2 of shoes) 6 in Adidas Samba, 7.5 in BB-mid 🤔

After getting finally trying a 3 after wearing 2s for many years, I have to say I'm a little disappointed. The 2s were already perfect. They may have seemed a bit narrow in the heal at first but the glove like fit in the heal is something I came to love. And the flexibility is something I love even more. Something the primal 3 gives up in both respects. the heel now fits looser, which is fine for a daily shoe, but I run in these. and the flexibility is noticeably less compared to an out of box primal 2. I still like the 3 and will probably still wear them. but I'm a little sad that the 2 is being discontinued given it was your only shoe at a 4/4 flexibility.
@meredithheath5272
@meredithheath5272 14 дней назад
Thank you for that information esp. about the heel being wider. I too, have a very narrow heel, and will try to buy up the Primal 2 before they are all gone - it says in the video for their shoe that the heel IS wider (🤬🥶) Sigh... as we all know, many of the shoes we used to buy - nonmatter the brand - tbe shoes are being made much more narrow, and we can't buy them any more! So, I have been looking extensively at many shoe brands - and almost all look too narrow - even the shoes which claim to be wider! So, I look at these, which look to have the best fit, and am about to buy, but - their heel is being made wider - WTH!

The Primal 2’s flexible fabric and shape make it the only comfortable shoe I’ve worn in years. I’m seeing more rubber on the side which is both exciting and concerning. My pinky toe consistently wears out and pushes through the outside of the toebox of every shoe I’ve put on my feet, so at best this makes the shoe more durable but at worst it makes it unwearable. Fingers crossed. I also want to mention that this lack of flexibility prevents me from comfortably wearing any of the other Lem’s shoes I’ve tried on, chukkas, boulder boots, etcetera.

The outsole is literally the worst part about these. Just use normal hard wear rubber, I shouldn't have holes straight through the soles of my shoes in a month and a half

been daily wearing my Primal2's for literal years and only have a bit of wear under the forefoot. I actually used to run in them (before getting Xero's for running). No holes yet. I even still have my original Stem Primal Origins ca. 2011 in my closet, although those are pretty tattered. But no holes in the soles there either.
