*Record scratch* *freeze frame during one of the many goofy grins from the choir members* Lenin: Yup, that's socialism in one country. So you're probably wondering how state socialism got itself into this situation.
A Finnish rock band singing in English in Sweden about an American state, accompanied by a Russian military choir! As nameofthepen says, it's surreal - and I love it! The Red Army choir members seem to be enjoying themselves as well, judging by the broad smiles on their faces.
I... I agree... I was surprised with how good they did "Happy Together" by The Turtles, but this... Well, let's just says my mom ruined this song for me years ago, so I see this as bizarre...
Today 25 .12.2016 We lost the great Red Army Choir, in a plane crash over Sochi-Russia...The irony of it all, considering the fact that Lynyrd Skynyrd (the band behind Sweet Home Alabama song), also died in a plane crash. May their great souls rest in peace. Уважение и респект Вам, ребята!
Fuckers trying to cover up the isis and cia use of gas, there were inspectors on that plane. R.I.P. Wake the fuck up folks, obama and clinton have sold out America over another fuckling oil pipeline. gabbard.house.gov/news/press-releases/video-rep-tulsi-gabbard-introduces-legislation-stop-arming-terrorists
Maybe don't stand quite so close to the crazy next time... Your delusion is showing since the big oil side of America is the Koch brothers, Exxon, and the pro Keystone, (Drill baby drill!) GOP!! Wake up yourself, the actual REAL world is still out there for you to discover!! None of what you posted stands even the most gentle reality check!!
I am a citizen of Sweet Home Alabama, and they did a great job, anybody from Alabama would agree!! I love Russians! all the ones on the internet I've met have been wonderful!!!! Sweet Home!!!!
The few Russians I've met were wonderful folk. Noble, stoic and loyal. I even fell in love with a Russian girl while attending college in Sweet Home Alabama. Renata, I hope things turned out well for you, you beautiful, brilliant angel.
There's already a Georgia over there, they don't need Alabama! Seriously, you really haven't heard this song until you've heard it at The Cane Break in Birmingham, AL (not UK!), and unfortunately I think I remember seeing that The Cane Break has been out of business for a long time. In the winter of 1975 I was in Birmingham on a business trip to check out terminals at the new SSA Payment Center then being constructed there, so the song was fresh. I think it was a Wednesday night, which was the big night out when everyone went out looking for a date for Friday and Saturday. The band started blaring this song and the whole crowd went crazy! An experience to be remembered!
Ok....seeing "Sweet Home, Alabama" being played on a balalaika....now I've seen it all! And slipping in "Song of the Volga Boatman"????? HA! Well done, gentlemen! Say what you will about Russian politicos....their entertainment units have always been top notch.
These were two of my favorite things - had no idea they collided at some point in this... way. Wonderful, slightly terrifying, very amusing, and absolutely ridiculous. It put a smile on my face when I needed it for sure - thanks.
As a southern American who grew up on skynard This somewhat strange It’s like the apocalypse has happened and we’re in Australia with Mel Gibson jamming at a clean water festival Rock on dudes rock on I love it!
I will literally never stop watching this The chick in blue’s dance... I know what I am gonna be and my crew too for Halloween 2020 one planet one family let’s black out together at least
Now I've heard everything. "Ladies and Gentlemen, our next acts will be the Allman Brothers singing 'Volga River Boatman', and Wet Willie singing 'Dark Eyes' (Ochi Chyornye)." (Hey, turnabout is fair play, after all. I'd love to see what some of our Southern Fried musicians would do with those classic Russian songs.)
BamaGirl here,This is my first time seeing this in 2024. Now we may go to wAr with these people ! ? Governments make me sick!!! LOVE NOT War! Music not war! Pray !🕊️
Это прикольно:))). В Канаде русских ценят, относятся оч хорошо. В Штатах я уверена тоже. Богачи агитируют нормальных людей ненавидеть друг друга, но я уверена - не выйдет!!!
