#eurovision #musicfirst #openup
50 years ago when I was a young lad, I didn't want anyone to know that I loved this song. Now I show it to my friends . She still looks amazing with her wonderful voice.
I came here from the video where Lenny was the Eurovision winner, how good she is! I want to know the history of music and songs of the Netherlands, I admire singing and the language, I want to learn it and know everything about the Netherlands, I love your culture! I am a Ukrainian who lives here, thank you to your country for accepting me, a tribute of respect! Very friendly, amazing and talented people in all walks of life!
Beautiful. The pure joy she gives the audience, and the sheer love they give her in return - that encapsulates everything that it wonderful about Euruovision. It has changed over the years, but it still (just) has that quality. Hopefully it will not be too long before it is possible to enjoy events like this again without fear and nervousness.
English version of the lyrics: He was filled to the brim with music He sang for big and small crowds He made people happy, melancholic The troubadour For knights in the big hall He sang in strong and sturdy language A long and bloody story The troubadour But the workers from the shed too Heard his song full of adventure Heard his song at the nightly kitchen fire The troubadour And in the pub in the town He sang a drinking song for the booze For who could still stand and who was sitting The troubadour The trouabdour (many lala's) And in the monestary he sang a quiet song About a miracle that happens Even if nobody sees The troubadour Of women of silk or grey He sang their hearts full of love His lovesong traveled with him The troubadour He sang for farmers in the country A man's song about own land He was from every rank and class The troubadour The troubadour He sang all his life long His own song, his own text Still the death has it's way The troubadour The troubadour Then it got quiet, the song was over Only some mud was left But who was comforted by his song did not forget Because he was so full of music He sang for big and small crowds He made people happy, melancholic The troubadour (more lala's)
Thank you very much for this. I'm from Brazil so I could get some words that are very similar to Portuguese. It is good to know that the lyrics are as beautiful as the song.
wow...what a beautiful voice. And such a beautiful song. I did not know it, heard it at the ESC 2021 in the Netherlands (on the roof) and wanted to find a full version. I just love it . Greetings from Germany.
@butterfly-hc2pxApartheid? Waar?
