Would love to see this work with some type of instant on when you draw system. For me to have to remember to turn it on in a self defense encounter is not good.
Interesting fact, most pirates who wore eyepatches didn’t do it for any kind of disability, but rather to preserve night vision in one eye which takes 20 minutes to restore after exposer to light. Ninja would also train to fight with one eye closed in case the situation called for them to enter a brightly lit area before striking and then retreating into the cover of darkness where they had the advantage of their night vision not being diminished by simply switching which eye they kept closed. BTW, will the new night stick fit nicely on the p80ss?
So how does this stack up against the Streamlight TLR-6? The Nightstick has higher lumens and candela power, a green dot, and is rechargeable. The Streamlight seems to have a longer run time and auto-shutoff. So which is best (including such things as staying on zero, ruggedness, overall dependability and holster availability)?
This light/laser combo was made specifically for the MOS, but with a red dot equipped (what the MOS exist for) that holster will not work. Anyone else have any other holster options that they know of?

I know this is an older video, 150 lumens may be enough to identify a potential threat inside a home but its not much output let's be honest. I now run a tlr7 sub on my 43x mos. It's 500 lumens and can take a rechargeable battery. And now there are holster options available for the tlr7 sub.
I just got mind from gunmagwarehouse. Mine is buzzing like crazy. So I sent it back. They said they replaced the module and it’s still buzzing. On top of it the zeroing mech in the laser is missing. So the mini screw driver goes in and doesn’t catch. What a nightmare.

No keep it. I recently bought the mos version of the 43x and realized no laser/light combo works except this one, I suggest you buy the recovery rail for the g43x is works really good and fits with some of the best laser/light combos
I'd like to see when guac is coming out with the micro subcompact. Like Ruger like Sig like Springfield. So many other people are coming out with these guns.
One thing I do wish manufactures would start doing with these light/lasers combo's is make them with a quick release on them easier to put on and take off, then the second thing is of course the magnetic charger! Got to love those! Easy to charge and easy to grab and detach off if need too if your getting into a fight. Plus you can have a solar charger on your backpack or a battery pack in the backpack and charging it at the same time too. Another thing is to use it you have to turn it on before you can use it, if they had a holster system that allows the holster to turn it on for you while your pulling it out to train or use for self defense that would be a lot better. MMM I know there's a different product out there that does that.
The defense logic is flawed, but appreciate your review. Looking for alternatives vs the rechargeable surefire option. Lights for pistols, lasers for rifles.
I need help. Can some peeps way in and comment as to whether they would prefer this rechargeable, built-in battery version by Nightstick, or the replaceable battery version by Streamlight? I just want it for home use if I have to get up in the middle of the night similar to a scenario Lenny talks about in the video. I wouldn't be using it for heavy night training. My big inquiry is does paying for new batteries over time outweigh the overall cost of a built-in rechargeable if/when that built-in battery eventually goes bad and an entirely new product needs to be bought again.
Stream light version isn’t released yet. Sure fire has a $300 light only option. Rechargeable battery, but you have to remove it from the light to charge. It’s 300 lums, instead of the 150 on the nightstick. Problem is no one has holsters for 43xMOS and a light.
If you have a red dot mounted on your 43x mos I’d skip this & wait for the Streamlight TLR-7 Sub. The laser is redundant & once the 7 Sub has been out for a minute there’ll be a ton of holster makers hooking this up. The 43x mos has been hugely successful so just give it time, we’ll have more do-dads for the gun than we’ll know what to do with soon.
You need to be worried about that, very worried, Mr Magill's GlockStore has been awarded an F-Rating from the BBB. Its on you folks to do your homework about these shysters prior to shipping them your $500.00 + firearm!
@@joesteaphens8469 -yes I did, and of course not loaded either. It’s called trigger discipline, rule#3 keep finger off trigger until aligned on target and ready to fire.
So, do why do we get the 43x MOS version when we mount a laser/light package? I suppose we had a change of heart thinking we wanted a (more expensive) red dot?

Lenny is a very thorough and detail oriented guy, but the glockstore operations side is letting him down, badly. Just came off a bad experience at the glockstore, where I had to cancel a couple of orders of their "Complete Dry Fire practice kits", due to stock-outs that were not indicated at the order placement stage. Lenny needs to step in and take strong corrective steps, IMHO, if he wants to raise the bar.
If there's anybody out there. That knows how to take the Locking block pin out of the Glock 42 with glockstore's extended slide release. So with the OEM slide release I could take it in and out push down on the slide release. It pops right out. I recently bought the slide release from GlockStore for my glock 42 and I cannot get this gun apart. Now. I actually had to return the first one because it didn't even fit in the gun. I couldn't get the pin through the Locking block the trigger. It wouldn't fit in the gun. So I sent it back. They sent me another one the pin fit in but now it's impossible to get that pin out if anybody has some advice I'd love to hear from you
I guess what I'm saying is that if you have a Glock 42 or 43 and you're buying the extended slide release be careful. It doesn't want to come back out of the gun. It doesn't barely fit in the gun. And the return process was insane. They wanted verifications. They wanted to see the broken part. It was just a pain in the butt. Be careful.
Im no expert , but if im going to draw my weapon on someone, its gonna be to shoot him , not to shine a light in his face. But thats just me . Great vid. I got the 43x mos. I hope mor companies make stuff for it. I would really love a laser with the light
@@jason328d6 I think he meant “red dot mounted.” The holster isn’t cut low enough to insert the pistol all the way if you have one on. I have to say their decision to make a holster not cut correctly for a gun that is only available with the red dot cut if baffling. The whole reason to buy this gun is to mount a red dot on it. Otherwise you’d buy the regular 43x, which doesn’t have a rail & wouldn’t work with this light therefore wouldn’t work with this holster.
