The Chrysler Airflow is an astonishing example of a masterfully conceived and created art deco automotive art work blended with pioneering innovations that would be reflected in automobiles built years and decades after it's demise. A beautifully styled ultra-luxury tank that deserves far more respect. Again, bravos to Mr. Osborne, Mr. Leno, and the Audrain Museum society for including this icon in their repertoire of noteworthy automobiles, excellent work.

LMFAO, this channel will never ever gain mainstream success. Most people of the generation that comprises the vast majority of the people on youtube hate jay leno for various reasons. His entitled attitude being the biggest reason. And on top of that, almost all of them hate great exhibitions of wealth or content that expresses admiration for those of great wealth. you must be in your 60's if you think this channel will ever see any success whatsoever. If this channel EVER makes i above 100k subs i will be mindblown

I don’t understand why 14 people gave this a thumbs down. I loved every minute of it the Chrysler was a beautiful car and a ground breaker. The Porsche is evolution of a type of sports car that everyone knows and can tell it’s a Porsche just by looking at it. But the E type Jaguar is one of the beautiful cars ever made I’m with Donald and Jay the coupe is better looking than the convertible. Love the series can’t wait until the next one comes out. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.

Very enjoyable with a casual but informative glossary of the cars and not forgetting the houses. I would love to see the boys actually inside the properties but realise this is not always attainable . Malcolm Sayer designed the "C" , "D" and obviously the "E" type Jaguars and during WW2 worked at the Bristol Aircraft Company . And l share Jay's thought's on the "E" type /Corvette comparison . For me the '63 Stingray split rear window is a every bit as beautiful as the Jaguar . Thankyou to all .

Mr. Osborne's reaction to Jay's crack about hair was priceless. The national colours were established much earlier in the century. The 2-colour schemes were one for the body, the other for the chassis. That's how racing stripes evolved. When the chassis was no longer visible, the 2nd colour became the stripe.

The British racing green story is an interesting one. It was _Irish_ racing green originally. Well sort of. When the national colours were being worked out Britain couldn't use red white or blue as they'd already been taken, but in the early 1900's road racing was banned in England, so they went to Ireland, which before independence was part of the UK and raced there. So in honour of the host country Irish green was decided as the British national colour. Though more confusing again the national colour of Ireland is actually _blue_ We Irish like to keep you guessing 😀. I seem to recall the original colour was a much lighter emerald green, but got darker in the 50's and 60's. Of course when advertising took over the national colours pretty much went the way of the dodo.

I think I just saw that movie on youtube, was his character in England? No wait there was a nice jag but Walter was driving a beautiful Mercedes Benz convertible. He played a private detective in the movie. The movie was in a time where these cars were common place but watching it in 2021 made it a festival of classic cars.

I winced when Donald said the 356C had drum brakes in the rear. This was the first Porsche to have standard disc brakes (aside from the noted annular brakes on Carrera 2 models), and the factory wisely fitted them to all four corners.
