It looks much thicker than even in the photos. I wish Lenovo made even the slim 5 version even thinner and a bit cheaper.

Ya if it was more thinner it would have been better But Being thin also creates problems of high temperature Same as we have high temperature in ROG Zephyrus because of less space for big ventilation systems.

@@HardwareGeek15 yeah! Thats why I wanted the slim 5 version of the legion 5 to be thinner. The slim 5 is almost similar in size to the legion 5, not to mention the pro 5 is also the same thickness as the legion 5, and in my opinion looks much more better and has better power limits and cooling. The normal legion 5 kinda doesnt have a place in the lineup, and the slim 5 legion (the 4060 version) is kinda thick to be called slim. I wish lenovo made their product lines much simpler, and sometimes its ok to compromise on a bit of cooling for the slim version, if I can get the legion 5 version of the laptop in the same size as the,legion 7.

LOL the ironical thing is this series is the predecessor of the Legion "Slim" 5, so this is their slim laptop. On the flip side, its pretty good size and weight for gaming laptop, if you need a slimmer gaming laptop you can look at asus zephyrus 14, but the downside being that the GPU is locked at 60TDP which sucks as you dont get the most out of the GPU you're paying for and the price is higher comparartively, other option is ultra premium laptops like Razer, where you get a slim high performing laptop. If you dont want either then the only option you have is a bulky than regular laptop.

@@7shaan yeah, but I like the legion more because its kinda priced right compared to the competition, and also they have a numpad, which I personally prefer. That is why I am looking forward to the legion 7i, which is slim and powerful and premium. But I hope lenovo makes a cheaper version of their legion 7 in the form of slim 5

@@aasishwarsaravana5748 Bro the 5i is exact replica of the 7i, with some differences like lack of botttom aluminium panel, 99wh battery and fingerprint scanner that make 7 premium, they have the same build, almost same weight specs and thermal system.

For Build quality i would say it's average, performance is really good and for battery life don't expect anything cause you will only get a max of 3 hours or very basic usages

Can take 3-4 weeks on average, but if you tell them its a urgent case and hassle a bit you can get it within 2 weeks, i got mine in 11 days

@@7shaan That's great man. But the thing is, I ordered it from offline store and the guy has no idea about delivery. Didnt even give me a friggin order id(only gave me the invoice for booking it)

@@kanishkmalhotra8094 he most likely booked it from lenovo website (Because i doubt there's any other way to build a custom pc) and has an order id from there. I'd recommend you get in touch with him or lenovo support/sales and get the order id,. Also requesting him to put forward the request of urgent delivery to their manager can help, that's what I did.

Just don't worry about it. You will get it in 3 to 4 weeks. Even if u see it is in India, custom builds have a separate in customs and it can take upto a week there.

If u guys wanna know the best laptop at 1.2lakh it's lenevo legion slim 5 rtx 4060 intel i7 13620 h it comes with the best display at this price point you should not sacrifice with a 1080p display you should get atleast a 2k display and legion has 2.5k display also there is less diff between a hx cpu and a h if u only want cpu then go for loq and get a display that even 40k laptops offer 😂😂 15.6 inch small ass display. Intel i7 13gen is more than enough for gaming and all the other task

I recently got mine with 14650, 4060, 32gb, 500nits, and the build quality seems fine, but the thermals are shitty imo, the CPU is always at 50-60* when idle and the laptop surface and keyboard always feel warm. Also im getting hardly 2 hrs of battery life on light web surfing and maybe a light application runnning in background at 50% brightness. Also the fans could get loud for no reason. Idk, im thinking that I got a faulty piece, but it surely isnt what they advertised, with "great" 80wh battery, "hyper front cooling technology", BLAHBLAHBLAH all the gimmicky talk. And the software support feels mediocre at best, they keyboard brightness can only be adjusted in 2 modes without any shortcuts and the low brightness being eye blinding in lowlight, and the light animations feeling very unpolished, the fan control is not there. Also these a55holes have decided to lock intel cpu undervolting, so you cannot even do that now, not without changing bios settings in the backend, which could brick your laptop if done wrong. Overall my experience rn is 5/10 with this laptop. I really want to love this laptop, the design is sleek, the screen is nice although not HDR, love the smooth hinge and 180 opening, great gpu and cpu, they just aren't about to make a cohesive great laptop with all these great hardware. PS. if you own a legion, just use Lenovo Legion Toolkit, its available on github, Vantage is utter piece of garbage.

Hi, I can feel your pain. i have the exact specs and the thermal are not what they were advertising.. during stress test mine even touched 100°c and average temp was 88°C, but as per legion team it is fine and they cannot do anything if nothing is wrong with the laptop. So I have made peace with what I have. Although the reviews suggests the temps never goes above 80 even during stress tests.

@NoorAlam-xz4vf No other issues. Everything is good expect that. But it does get very loud under load in performance mode. If you want to buy legion then see reviews of AMD version with RTX gpu. And if performance is your key point then buy this one. Only buy if you are getting 3 years accidental damage protection from lenovo website. Otherwise don't. Then company has lost faith in this product. Also there one youtube channel who makes videos about laptop discounts... "Making tech friendly".. search it..watch its videos.

@@Rvrishav Yea I can work with it getting a little warm, but the battery is horrible. I have been benchmarking it, and I got 4 hours for a single youtube video tab @480p in browser with no apps running and 50% brightness in balanced mode. And hardly 50 mins of gaming @1080p and 50% brightness which is almost half of what they claimed. And I'm not even getting into software and gpu issues. How is your battery performing?

HELL NO BRO. This exact version has a issue where the hall sensor(responsible for laptop sleeping when you close the lid) is placed too close to the heatsink which causes it to heat up resulting in black screens. Being a laptop review channel, its your responsibility to check the laptops you recommend thoroughly for any issues before you recommend it to your audience.@@HardwareGeek15

Both are good but legion is bit better if we seeing overall their service , build quality, not so gaming look . And if you want 4060 go for lenovo loq i7 14700hx rtx 4060 for around 1.2 to 1.25 and you can customise its display to 1440 p
