Can we convert this 710 into , Gaming pc ? for latest games in 2024 ?

Yes, you can but it will not be as fast as a PC built for gaming as the workstations have error-correcting code (ECC) for memory modules, CPUs, and supported GPUs which will reduce performance for games. That said, if you have M.2 drives installed, one of those should be your boot device and where you store your games to get the best performance. In other words an SSD is highly recommended. Could be your memory is also non-ECC UDIMM memory modules, which would also be better for memory on a gaming system. But, it could also be ECC UDIMM memory which has a small safeguard module on teh DIMM itself to negate errors. A gaming GPU would also help performance and as long as the top TDP supported by the system is not exceeded, and there are sufficient power connectors for the gaming GPU, you should be good to go. This is an older machine in general, so yes, you can use it for gaming but top memory speeds supported go up to 2600MHz not the 4800MHz and 5600MHz supported on newer systems-not a huge factor just a symptom of obsolescence. Thanks for comment and watching! 🤪

Hi Pedro! There is no controller integrated with the motherboard. The LSI MegaRAID SAS or LSI RAID flex adapter is listed for this system Page 52 actual or punch in 64/170 at the top of the page, here: www.itcreations.com/user-manuals/p710/userguide.pdf Also lists these same controllers in the specifications here: www.itcreations.com/user-manuals/p710/specifications.pdf Hope that helps, and thanks for watching!
