Lenovo YOGA Pro 9i Unboxing 

Im confused between buying yoga pro 9i and legion 7i What do you think is better for me I'm an engineering student I have 3D modelling and simulation tasks I also want to play games and watch movies and tv series The system should be able to play next gen titles like gta 6 (future proof gaming) Which one should I get. And with what gpu and cpu. (I only have $2000 not a dime more 🙂)

170-watt psu is not sufficient when rendring on blender. Battery drain even when psu is connected. Get the 230-watt and problem resolved. mini led 3.2k touch display is 1200 nits. fantastic. no pen support at all. tried them all 😉

if it weren't for the new windows on ARM laptops this would be hard to resist.

What about contrast of display?

i have had both the ips and mini led i think the ips is more color accurate the mini led contrast washes out the colors in my opinion the battery its ok better than last years but not by much but i do recommend it and may back to it best buy has the better deals on the 2

My model is 185H, 4070, mini-led no touch. Too hot, hence very noisy under a decent load. Annoying fans under very light load. Looks like Lenovo didn't do a good job tweaking the fans curve. They could've lowered the fans speed and let CPU runs at a bit higher temperatures under light or medium load. Enabling Ultra Quiet Mode in bios doesn't change anything. Battery drain under heavy load or gaming, 170w charger is not enough. The camera switcher feels cheap af. It's unbelievable they put this kind of a switcher to this kind of laptop. Other than that everything looks and feels great so far. Build quality, except the camera switcher, is great. Trackpad is awesome. Full aluminum case. Due to this there is a thermal pad between ssd and the bottom case. If Lenovo adjusted the fan curve to lower the fans speed, the laptop would be much better.

the best buy 4050 model iss not mini led but could of fooled it ips looks very nice unless best buy has the wrong specs
