Our Dept. Here in Wisconsin we use Safariland sam Brown duty belts in 94 or buckle and matching pouches in Plane Black or basket weave. Our SWAT TEAM we use Safe Life defense belts with taco pouches! Nice duty belt setup.
Nice duty belt set up and great show! Nylon looks nice I live in Wisconsin and we get snow ice and using salt nylon looks bad. Our Dept. We use all Safariland basket weave 94 duty belt and with the buckle. We have Safariland basket weave pouches on our belts. A Safariland basket weave 6360 triple retention holster for our Sig Sauer P 320 45 ACP. We use the X2 taser that's on my vest. My 21;inch ASP Baton and OC SPRAY. I see you don't carry them? They come in handy! Getting suspects arms and hands from under them. Breaking windows in home fires and accidents. My OC SPRAY I use now and then keep save brother in blue! I like that Blackhawk holster the first one sucked officers were shooting them selfs in the legs!
I got some of the gloves for my buddy for X-mas last year. Been putting off buying myself a pair. I'm picky when it comes to gloves. SKD Tactical is gonna have 20% off gloves I think... Friday or Saturday 9f this week so I might have to order some. Stay safe.
I added a small piece of grip tape to the slide lock release. All I did was cut it to the exact size and just pasted it there and held it for like one minute with my thumb. Makes a huge difference since you get a good grip on it with your thumb and makes it more easier and prevents my thumb from slipping off 👍🏽
I run a Kagwerks extended slide release on my personal glocks, my dept. is just fucky about changing out parts with non-OEM items. Grip tape on the release is a good idea tho.
@@eckels_gear I add grip tape on anything that needs a thumb release push. Like my Safari land gun holster, and my taser holster. It might look dumb to some people but it actually works for me because sometimes I do have sweaty fingers especially in stressful situations.
Enough to get the job done. I see a lot of guys that carry so much gear I often can’t imagine how they walk..let alone run. I’m a total minimalist. one set of cuff, OC, taser, cuff key, pen, knife..my gun and holster..and 2 spare 10 round mags for my 1911.
@@eckels_gear Yeah but state police are a lot more strict they got to wear big basket weave Sam brown belts with service straps not usually aloud to wear outer carriers but I like how the state troopers belts and mostly it’s just oc, taser holster, baton maybe, gun holster, mag pouch and a million belt keepers 😂
The traditional blued S&W handcuffs are prone to rust I have the same pair as you do the M&P lever locks that smith and Wesson coats with a new finish called Melonite that is designed not to rust and is actually baked into the metal. I also collect a bunch of different cuffs lol.
yes, my department issues and mandates Glocks. I don't see it as forced, I am a bit of a Glock fanboy, but I do wish we were able to use different sidearms. I've never used a Walther before but it is definitely on the bucket list to shoot.
It's just 3M industrial grip-tape. It gives a very rough grip texture that I really like. I use a heat gun after applying to ensure it sticks to the frame.
