Quick tip: Most times, when you want to chain 5S and 5H together in a combo, it's better to start with a 5H. It moves you forwards, deals more damage, and most times, it allows you to get an extra 5S/H in strings.
@@SomeRandomDude821 sorry i know this is old, but could you tell me what bt.HSH means? Only been playing strive for a few weeks so dont know all the terms
@@pokeyclawz8727 Leo's gimmick is that he has moves that put him in a special stance where his back is facing you. The official name is "Brynhildr Stance," but everyone just calls it "back turn." So, when writing his combos, stance moves anre notated with bt.X for "back turn X." *(All of the below stuff is about notation and has nothing to do with Leo specifically FYI)* As far as learning terms, notation is complicated and it's one of those things you pick up with time, so don't worry too much. Like parentheses can mean 3 different things, and you just have to use context. Those uses, if you're interested, are: 1. Optional moves: 2AA > (2B) > 2C... 2. For multi-hit moves, only doing X hits: ...6C(1) > 2[D] > 6C... Here the first 6C is canceled after one hit. The second is allowed all hits. (The brackets, by the way, mean to hold the indicated button/direction. For example, Leo's fireball or May's dolphin are [4]6 S/H) 3. Information for which there isn't notation, like whiffing a move or other stuff: 2A > 2C > 3C > (microwalk) > 5B... ...I just realized how much detail I put in this. Whoops.
You can actually wall break without RC with CS - c.H - 214S (Hold) - S - H - 214H - S You can also start with CS - FS instead of CS - c.H if you want to do it from mid screen and it does about 50% still.
Hey man. Awesome list. But I tried to find them in combo search. And it's difficult to find your name in their amd your list. So what's the combo recipe numbers? BTW I play the pc version.
@@Eskimofo13 I really hope they are. They said they're making the game simpler for newcomers yet they didn't (or haven't) added one of the easiest ways to learn new characters

No cap, 626 is such a dumb input in general (I use a keyboard for console) and it just doesn't flow with the rest of her inputs. Makes no sense it should just be a charge
@@HoodieKayy you mean 623? Wdym it doesn't flow well? She's not a charge character, why would just a single move be charged? That makes even less sense. Charge characters use charge dp and non charge characters just use the 623 dp. There are reasons why there are normal and charge characters
for attacks like Eisensturm or the projectiles where you have to "hold", what does that mean exactly? I have a lot of trouble pulling those off, and I just end up doing 6HS or S instead of getting the projectile out. do you hold for the first direction? or hold for the second? sorry if I am not using the right terminology, I'm still a bit new.
you can buffer the back (hold) input in between other moves. Backdash and keep holding back and then forward and S or HS or during S or SH start holding back and then forward S/HS for the projectile. Same applies for the down (hold) up move. while crouch guarding moves for example you can input up with S/HS for it.
looks like it was created using the combo recipe in-game just have a separate screen open one for the video another for the game. In training if you go to Pause > Training Settings > Combo Recipe Settings and if you enable it you can create combo inputs just like the one in the video along with combo's meant for pressuring too
