In X-wars, when Shoutmon collected all the code crowns, Leomon was revived in their village. But was killed again when the Dark Generals took over the Digital world.

I feel bad for Leomon. He is like a true heroic figure to me. He deserves respect!

So in Adventure and Tamers it was a meaningful death which served a purpose, and then they made it a joke

Were they really so intent on killing leomon every season that they turned him into the main characters dad in data squad?!

Watching Ghost Game rn and every time there's death or stakes I constantly see people saying stuff like "why is this show so dark, back in my day Digimon was happy and cheerful kids show", and every time I can't help but think to myself, have you missed every episode of every Digimon series that Leomon was in?

I can forgive the first two times Leomon died. They were both heroic sacrifices in two separate continuities and both in different forms. HOWEVER, the fact they kept killing him OVER AND OVER AGAIN is ridiculous. It's gotten to the point where it's just a running joke. Heck, even Cyber Sleuth has made fun of it! The only time Leomon survived anything was in the "Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01" manga, which we never even got in America. I can't even respect Leomon as a character, cuz he dies every time him (or one of his many iterations) show up.

Even as mega level SaberLeomon the king of beast dies as well. Long live the King!!!! R.i.p Leomons, well the good Leomons. The bad ones i really don't care for .

Please stop killing Leomon or any Lion-type digimon...

Also I never noticed until watching this video that BanchouLeomon reminds me a lot of Jotaro from JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders! I wonder if that's where they got the inspiration from?
