Lot of respect for Leonard Cohen (rip) but sadly he was somewhat misguided in his views (his Jewish lineage notwithstanding) standing next to killer Sharon(Shatila/Shabra) and trying to defend the Israeli state...if only he knew how things would continue for the next 45 years onwards and how music didn't really change much but to give succour to the state of Israel aided and abetted by the US and his own Canada.

Steffen Zander - Cohen was no cultist [of any sort]. It's a shame that he ended up standing close to Sharon, but c'est la vie, i guess, and he wasn't to know what the viperous Sharon would do/oversee at Shatila/Shabra in 1982. Attacking Cohen your way is like some people dismissing the "teachings" of Jesus [if he existed] because the American right object to suggestions that, in essence, Jesus was, to use a modern term, a socialist.
