The funny thing about Cohen is, he actually knows what he's singing. He's not doing his old hits, without feeling, just spitting out the words. He's 80 and he's singing with all of his heart. Remarkable man.

I like music, rocking music, and I like those who, tell a story, thru their music. Bob Seger, Jackson Brown, Bruce Springsteen... Storytellers ! This guy is one! ! He was a comforting soul ! Word Smith, would be a given. Was November last week, and into December, I found his songs. Sat on a porch in East Garfield Park.. and just put the switch to play on... He's amazing. I can warm up my lungs to play my harmonica ! 🎶🎵❤️

Watch and discover what "it" is. It isn't money and it isn't good looks. It's the poetry, the humour, the way he sings, and he doesn't take himself too seriously. That is sexy.

I've been in love with his voice and style of music when I first heard it in the movie Pump Up The Volume with Christian Slater. Только что прочитала книгу: Леонард Коэн. Жизнь. Автор Сильвия Симмонс. Основана на документальных данных. Теперь после песен Леонарда Коэна уважение и восхищение сильно возросло.
