The 2s38 is so annoying to kill. I always have to picture the three crew in front and aim there, any other shot just ends up with my barrel out, or me dead 💀. I feel your pain.
And now there will be same shit as in 10.0. Lots of lvl 10 unexpierenced 1 death leavers. 11.7 was a good tier, to get there you had actually play and learn the game. And now you can just jump to it with your wallet

6:22 Looking at that hitcam, it appears most of the spall avoided the actual ammo itself, and the main projectile body also flew in-between the ammo. Since it also skirted the edges of the crew compartment, it only killed one of three crew. That was basically almost the only spot on the center hull you could hit that may not kill it on a penetrating shot. If you bias your shots to the left of the turret, the entire ammo reserve is there. So if the crew already didn't die, it's game over. That or if your shot had hit even a meter lower he would have likely popped right there. Unfortunate placement...
That just seems broken honestly. a frontal shot with anything above dm23 should pop the 2s38. No apfsds should slap through the armor and not pepper the humans inside with shrapnel
@@nikolaisuterovich Well, for the brief time it entered the crew compartment, the dude closest ate the part of the spall that went in. That much lines up with expectations. It's mainly the spall not exploding ammo which is debatable. In defense of gaijin, the main body hit no ammo at all. In defense of BPA, a fair few fragments hit the feed. Like stated, it was perhaps the one single spot there where it wouldn't be a near certain kill.
Yesterday on reddit someone shit on me saying the 2S38 has 0 surviveability and that I'm stupid for being happy that it has new modules to damage (specifically the vertical targeting ring thing that used to be invincible). Well.. I guess it's still pretty bs lol as it's able to turn it's turret with a destroyed horizontal ring... Ugh. Also when you hit the 2nd 2s38, he was still aiming vertically with a destroyed vertical thing.
9035 after this ? waiting for that thing's review; i'm wondering whether i should get that or the 90105 for high rank sweden grind (my friend said i should get 90105, but i'm looking for a 2nd opinion 😅😅) Edit: bought it; prob will buy 90105 later on sale. Imo, too high of a BR: 9035 and 9030 should be dropped 1 br step. Def quite tricky to use due to the inconsistent sabot spall, but its still usable and pretty fun.

@@badtoothbeetrootIf you want autocannon IFV gameplay, get the CV90105 and grind till the Strf 9040B BILL or the Strf 9040c. They are great IFVs at 10.0 and far superior to the CV9035. Plus the cv90105 just got a buff with its scope so it’s amazing now. You could also get the Christian ii which is a great tank but nothing unique
As someone who has every premium is the Swedish tree, I highly recommend the 90105 or the Christian II. I wouldn’t bother with the 9035 unless you absolutely love that particular version of the cv90 or you already have the 90105 and Christian II
Is it bad map design or the player base refusing to learn? Well, it's both. However, war thunder has some of the worst map design out of all fps/shooters in gaming. So I personally think it's 99% map design with the 1% being player behaviour.
it's not a bad map design in this case. You know you are crossing in a coberless field to push a line that has no real value to you where the enemy has clear line of sight. You got to this BR where you played 100s or 1000s of hours and you still do the same, knowing it is mistake.
Yea but actually here its not the case. Its people thinking they can do the same shit as in mid tier/ low tier where you could try thing with fast or armored tank but its top tier where everyone is fast, armor doesnt matter as much and apdsfs goes 1600+ ms
Actually shooting it and doing damage is harder than it would seem at first. And you get a lot of downtiers and ppl with only 400 pen can't pen it anyway.
Lol it seems Gaijin decided to keep the 2s38 OP even though it is supposedly nerfed with the new damage models like its autoloader being possible to be damaged but BS Russian bias must go on.. Okkk oh okk! gaijin!! .. lolz
@@abdellahiehreimo3402 He literally hit his upper plate on the weird angle where his APFSDS bounced. If he did center mass shot 2S38 would be dead. BMP hull also does this. Every tank has auto-ricochet if you miss your shot. Like whole Strv 103
@bluebud169 I know that but I mean it isn't just about 2s38.. T80's now have new damage model for autoloader & if u hit it they sometimes don't die unlike irl.. it happens sometimes with 2s38 .. now that's unrealistic & is a buff for them to be op.. It should've been a kill if u direct hit the autoloader..
Maybe it's still early to tell since every update needs time to materialise & these issues get fixed.. but I might misunderstood u.. yup it's a skill issue if u shoot badly placed shot & die as a result lol
