Brittney Morgan my snowy is from petsmart, and he's healthy I've had him since April, but he's a little on the small side I think. That's really all that is wrong with him. I ordered a female from a breeder though so well see

Yeah mine is about 6 inches and I've been trying to fatten him up a bit cause he looks a bit thin but not to an unhealthy extent

Brittney Morgan I got my leo from petco a couple months ago(knew better but made eye contact with him and literally couldn't leave him) and he's a pretty big boy(from what I can tell) but when I got him since they weren't supplementing him he had liquidy poops, luckily a few days of dusted crickets fixed him and he didn't need a vet visit, he's a crazy little guy, even now that he's tamed, quite vocal too, loves to give me a heart attack by almost walking off ledges when I leave him for a second to grab something.

I don’t have any (yet) and i already have names for 3 leopard geckos and 1 name for a crested gecko that i don’t even have yet. My mom say i can have one (maybe) in a few years but my dad says no so well see. I really want to get one when i’m younger then when i live alone for a better experience but i may not be able to get one around my parents due to us being cat people and my mom worried that i will hurt it because there gecko’s. My mom also said if we do get one we will only get a leopard gecko because crested gecko’s are too much work and room. But yea, i really want 4 geckos.

aww thank you Becky :D oo that's cool, yeah you can never stop at one reptile, you'll always end up with more, and I find the new caledonian geckos all seem very sweet and docile - maybe the leachies are a little fiesty haha but they're a great group of geckos to explore :)

ye hahah no unfortunately not! However I have ended up with two Amazon milk frogs, a ball python and a plethora of tarantulas! My original statement may have aged too well :)

yeah they can be quick when they want to be. I find both types of geckos are even quicker the darker it is. For example if i just have a lamp on in my room rather than my big light, the geckos are even quicker :')

I finally have some good news about Sahyu's eating. I went to the vivarium to get some dubias for her to eat in case the crickets were just blowing her mind with their leaps. I talked to one of the workers about my suspicions of Enigma Syndrome and she immediately suggested hand feeding. Since her aim is full of fail and I know how her bites feel from her biting my toe for some odd reason while we were hanging out watching RU-vid, I'd rather not get nomed by accident. At the same time, I worried that the metal tongs would hurt her mouth. So I now have bamboo tongs. It worked beautifully. She ate them ravenously and we didn't really have issues with her missing either. I think I cried a little and even feel tears right now thinking about it. I don't mind that I have to tong feed her. More bonding time after all! Also, there was a doggy nutrient gel that they apparently use for their lizards that works, so I will try that out too if she gets fussy again. Hopefully not anytime soon. And the final update on Sahyu is that she is no longer a baldy. Spots have appeared on her precious forehead. I guess some angels kissed her. XD

Candy_lynn and Things No clue what my little guy is but he's an extremely vibrant yellow with spots going down his back in little clumps with spots all over his tail and some gray coloring on it that almost looks blue in some lighting, with little white freckly feet. Stunning blue-grey eyes too, precious little bugger.

Zebrasushi :P put him in a Luke warm tub with a lid for half hour THEN PIC her up and get a cotton bud damp it and wipe the skin off When he lets u get close be patient doing this good luck 👍

Dampen some spagnum moss and put it in the cool hide and the moss really helps getting off the shed on the toes

Better for the moist hide to be on the warm side so that their body temps don't get too low.

Zebrasushi :P hey I have Owen lepord geckos frogs and chanelion a for years try to just frap him quick and soak him if he can not put a very very wet cloth in there or put a giant water bowl in there hill soak himself I whould soak him and take it of with tweezers give him more vitman a as well so he won't have a shedding problem

Lilly Ski if you visit a local reptile expo, there will likely be breeders offering ‘frog butt’ cresties who’ve already lost their tails and won’t regrow them. It’s impossible to lose a tail if you don’t have one!

This is also my second reptile. My mom got me and my brother a ball python when i was 5 and he lived until i was 15.

For future reference I don’t recommend buying from petsmart. You’re only supporting them and making the situation worse. It just continues the cycle. You may be saving one but they’ll just replace them with more.
