Ce plat traditionnel faisait partie intégrante de la vie et de la nourriture des paysans de Bresse (Région Rhône-Alpes, France) d'autrefois ! Aujourd'hui encore, cette tradition est remise au goût du jour lors de fêtes traditionnelles de Bresse. Ce film, présenté grâce au "Caméra Club Bressan", a été nommé pour le prix du documentaire avec mention spéciale du jury au festival régional de la FFCV d'Aix-les-Bains. Nous verrons dans ce documentaire de 11 mn, la cueillette des épis de ce maïs très spécial, le grillage, la mouture des grains et la dégustation dans 2 fermes différentes ! Il fallait laisser un témoignage d'une vie d'avant qui ne serait plus possible aujourd'hui. L'association "Mémoire de Sornay" a écrit le scénario du film : "Raconte-moi ta Bresse, papy !" d'où est issu ce reportage et tous les acteurs font partie de cette association ! Bravo à tous ! C'était un réel bonheur de tourner ce film !
This traditional dish was an integral part of the life and food of the peasants of Bresse (Rhône-Alpes Region, France) in the past! Even today, this tradition is brought up to date during traditional Bresse festivals. This film, presented thanks to the "Camera Club Bressan", was nominated for the award of the documentary with special mention of the jury at the regional festival of the FFCV of Aix-les-Bains. We will see in this documentary of 11 minutes, the gathering of the ears of this very special corn, the roasting, the milling of the grains and the tasting in 2 different farms! It was necessary to leave a testimony of a life before that would no longer be possible today. The association "Memory of Sornay" wrote the screenplay of the film: "Tell me your Bresse, grandpa!" from where this report came from and all the actors are part of this association! Bravo to all!
