Its a fickle mistress this downhill game and the boys are flying....Honestly so stoked for BC....but for sure one day would rather it was me! haha Enjoy and speedy LSD's coming again soon sports fans! #bksport #ladaman
The stress level under that umbrella , thanks sooo much for bothering to make such a wicked edit, traction to the rubber , may the gods give you wings bro
Imagine how much more would watch if all riders would do finals with live pov. Great video again . You are great inspiration not only on the riding part.
@@_umi_says you can stream to your phone. But I kind of doubt its good enough to have a problem free streaming in such conditions though. I assume you would need also some sort of signal boosting along the trail.
Nice of you to clean off the track for those guys to go faster Bernie. Either way you still crushed it, what a challenging course. Thanks for all the good videos and on to the next one for the win
Glad to see the UCI Gate Woman from all those years is back at Les Gets. Was she in Loudonville too? Love seeing those big glasses and a familiar face at the start.
Discovery need to use AI to integrate all the live camera info as the riders drop in. Live pov must be possible now as well, ‘cos the drone footage works. I think leaving the live camera editing integration to expensive humans who may not know the sport that well is undermining the presentation. Why else would we have lingering views of the Oakley banner ads as the last 10 dropped through past the little reservoir? Why else would we have lingering pics of the riders dropping out of the start hut (spoiler alert, turns out everybody can do that and it’s not 4X). Anyway, BK, you rode well and you’re improving faster than most. Your podium is being built in the US right now 😊
@@Finnspin_unicycles Fair point. But I was thinking of integrating all their current fixed track-side cams with the live timing (who’s where, when did they actually start and finish, where did they just pass, have they suddenly slowed down so which cam will show the fall). The AI could review the video so fast that it could take charge of the live feed. I agree it’s too expensive now. But it’s certainly possible. Once somebody does it in an implementation like DH, there’ll be no looking back. Discovery have so many sports where this would give them a real USP. The other thing is that if live video analysis is not included, there are API’s available now that would be competitive from a cost point of view - ask yourself why what we see is so poor with so many cams (spoiler, it’s to do with bums on seats or the lack thereof). A cheap AI just looking at the timing and switching live would not cost as much as more people. Anyway, giant slalom skiing will get there first. But other sports such as golf, cross-country horse riding (part of 3 day eventing) will all yield to this. F1 is also an obvious choice with so many cams (we only get to see a fraction of them) and I think this will be paid for by F1 and licensed to the teams first. The live producers will still have an oversight role to decide what to do when 2 very exciting unplanned things are happening in different places at the same time. And when the fuse blows 🥳
@@Coolcmsc If it's hard to train humans to make a compelling broadcast, training an AI is even harder, switching and choosing speed should generally not be the issue currently. Why would you have things like lingering shots? It's a bit more tricky than just switching through cameras in sequence if you have a fixed time per rider dictated by the start interval, but a variable time taken. A balance between not being disorientating and also showing important moments, it's a tricky task and mistakes will be made, whether you give the task to AI or humans.
Solid run. Out if curiosity, werent your fork too stiff? I just watched the Vitak slowmo and your for was working a bit less compared to other riders. Was that just for this race or is just your usual preference?
As we know we don’t like the French winning but we can take exception for Benny boy A solid run from your boy BK quit making the top 10 12th it’s not a bad going
Very true As an person from the UK I would prefer a British rider to win but that’s easy said than done with the likes of super Bruni AP LV Taking wins most weekends so happy for Benny on this occasion
@@jeanlouismichel9226 Yes we do Danny heart Bernard Kerr Charlie Hatton just to name a few But the French boys are on a different planet especially super Bruni what a career is had already
Good luck in SnowShoe. Please can we have a Boris limited edition BK Sport drop? So many ideas for the graphic but I guess you guys already have it dialled. #WhatsBorisDoing
Is it some rule you have to race or just reminding yourself what fun enduro is? Remeber from Tweed Valley couple years back you said you’re nevere going to race enduro again 😅
@Bernard-kerr. what I win? But seriously my wife will watch your videos cuz you include lada man and she loves dogs. I’ve been riding MTB 28 years and at this point she could care less, but your videos she’ll watch for the doggo! Still need to know why no throw stick?
@@migzoner I realise it's 8 days later haha but I don't know if it's the reason Bernard doesn't like it but chasing sticks can be dangerous for dogs cause sticks can become stabby when landing and bouncing on the ground when the dog is right behind it with it's mouth open.. just takes the right angle at the wrong time
Would have loved to see the actual race run, pity you weren't allowed to run your action camera and use the footage, maybe check in with Troy and find out how he got permission to run and use his.
KILLER SHIRT PRESENTATION... after i am watching conan in armenia BTS and they all hop into a russian car known as a LADA... its from 2015... just sayin. LADAMAN RULES
