Fabulous! I fondly remember a mince pie eating competion with Les at The Shire Hall Presteigne. I think it was 1977, the occasion being a Christmas party thrown by Garry Banks and Nicky Jones-Evans. There was much fun!
Rob & Les, this is an absolutely stunning arrangement and a nice story on the video too. I also need to contradict Ted's Tube's comment about the Oldfield mask. Rob's music stands up in its own right with its own 'signature' and certainly doesn't feel like a pastiche of Oldfield or anyone else. It's also great to see Les Penning back in action and the work that he and Rob are doing together is a joy to hear (I would go as far as saying that their version of Portsmouth is better than the original!).
