Andrée was born during the war. During those difficult years, what marked her was the lack of food and hunger. She recounts the restrictions, the long queues in front of the stores, the ration cards and tickets. In those days, shortages were constant: no more sugar, bread, meat or milk. Market stalls were empty. We even ate vegetables that had previously been reserved for livestock! His childhood memory brings back unusual images, such as the Tête d'Or park being turned into a vegetable garden.
