Leslie is probably one of the more compassionate streamers. But sometimes looking at viewers like real people can be overwhelming, she needs to realize she can’t please everyone or owes them anything 🥺
She intellectually realizes that she can’t please everyone but that doesn’t make it easier to deal with it. Eventually you become Ludwig pilled and ignore those people but simply realizing that she can’t please everyone isn’t enough to stop her emotions.

Tbh I think most of them are kids, I remember once I was little and I watched a minecraft rp server on youtube, which was divided into two factions or somethings, and they would mess with each other a d such, and I didn't understand quite well that, so me and a bunch of other kids would go to the other faction videos and just, you know, make bad comment and all. Till one day this guy on the other faction, the one I didn't like, said he was quitting because of all the hate and all and I felt so bad, cuz I never meant to hurt them, I just wanted to show my support ah, Yada Yada Yada, summarizing, I just think most people who hate on streamers are kids, and arguing with a kid is just stupid right, most of them won't take seriously nor understand the impact of their actions.
The worst part is, what she does in RP does not warrant any type of drama, it’s pure RP and is funny for some and cringe/boring for others, I didn’t watch RP for a while because the VAR was really boring for me, and after seeing the clips about the drama of the casino I was glad CG move on and the whole April/Ramee/Carmella was a fun watch, it’s so so so easy to either watch someone else or take a break from RP when something you don’t enjoy is happening

I feel the problem comes from viewers who think they have a say in any creator's experience on the game. I don't care how invested in the narrative you are, we're meant to sit back and enjoy, not try to live through these people and/or control their character's experiences. If Leslie is having fun I assure you, you will too.
Her chat can be extremely irritating. They were just as bad during Among Us streams trying to tell her how to play, luckily she wasn’t looking at chat much. It’s not even like they tell her nicely either, they’re so rude.
Chat is a platform to have a voice and tell something to a streamer and if streamer don't like what they read then remove it ban them and maybe moderate their chat properly. What I see is a streamer that can't moderate her chat properly then cries. Her mods are just dogshit and can't filter the chat.

The April and Ramee arc and Leslie roleplaying in general was such a breath of fresh air from the heated casino storyline, if she wasn't streaming all this time I wouldn't have had something to watch and be entertained with tbh she's been such a joy to watch and hope Leslie is alright as she seemed to be having fun too.

@@rokz2455 They did address the offline chat, as Leslie said herself. Those screenshots were from Among Us days and also a few months back, and they did address it. The mod is addressing toxic Stan accounts because they're bringing back those screenshots and giving attention to them, then they have already been addressed and dealt with months ago.

Protect Leslie at all costs!! She’s the one of the kindest and friendliest streamers in the scene. Her content is ALWAYS entertaining no matter what she is doing. The way she gets along with so many people in the city is inspiring, so seeing her get weird comments or toxic people in her chat is so frustrating. She deserves the same respect and kindness she shows everyone. Her gta rp is top tier and I love watching her every time she plays. I hope the toxicity will eventually be pushed aside with positive and encouraging comments but that might be a big ask of me. Fuslie, play how you want and do whatever makes you happy. It's heartbreaking to see her crying and know that she would do anything just to make everyone happy. She has a kind heart and good intentions. I wish the mean chat could ever see that, just enjoy the stream as they should, not controlling or being rude to her or any streamers.
Chat is basically a community, and since leslie’s doubled her viewership after gta, its safe to assume that at least half of her new viewers come from gta communities, such as tonys, sykkunos, and randys and ramees community, even more so after they move to facebook, and also because shes cg. I notice the gatekeeping on trying to keep april always rp with cg is insaneeee, be it on twitch chat and clips, reddit arts and comments, or twitter, which is great, shes always been cg anyways. Even k(or garrett) said cg reddit is now april reddit. But the gatekeeping and backseating leslie gets and hate people outside of cg gets is unwarranted especially with the recent heist drama that went down, and its not fair that leslie’s catching the heat of it just because she rps with other people. Imagine people attacking sykkuno and rae, and then there are people lashing out about ramee and cg, of course leslie would wonder if they still enjoy the rp or not, and these things are mostly soo backhandedly written in chat its hard not to think about it. I agree with what leslie said today, she has to take a more proactive approach in gta etiquette and figure out how to manage chat better in lieu to the recent influx. Because at the end of the day, it’s all content, people watch what they enjoy, and i hope leslie too, will continue to enjoy gta for years to come and not sabotage herself instead 😂 this just a little hiccup, a bump on the road of april’s journey to become the next legend of no pixel. @@D_humbly What leslie’s going through right now is what I’ve seen rae and ash went through when they started blowing up in gta community. Difference is, rae stopped completely for months and have no progress or stories in the game when people started harassing and make streamers and friends cry and mald to the point of losing interest in the game altogether. Then there’s ash, who actually learn gta lingo and manage her chat better because she wants and likes to play gta, bless her curses. I remember ash malded at chat and tilt soo hard and tell them to fuck off when they meta or backseat or simply didn’t understand the mechanics of gta at the time, now her chat are just like any other gta streamer chat, trolly pepega white knights lmao. Look at where ash and rae is in the game progression now. I was feeling kinda bittersweet watching raes vod today, claire who she met 7 months ago who had only 20k now is a millionaire in game, tommy t whos shared a cab ride with 7 months ago is now ceo of casino hotel, and randy bullet owns doodoo logistics. Leslie puts time and effort in growing with april storylines because she enjoys it and the community growth is there. Leslie is the top gta female twitch streamer 2022 according to gtarp reddit and the 12th out of 50 gta streamers. This is where i think leslie made the right call to being more proactive in managing chat because she actually loves playing gta. Of course with massive growth comes the backlash. Chat hopping, meta, backseat, gatekeep these are all normal in gta because it’s literally gta mechanics for chat, and in leslie’s case, they just come in bigger scale in short amount of time. It is overwhelming right now, but it’s something I know leslie will look back in 3 months and be like, “huh okay chat actin up, put on emote only”, because that’s just gta.
Blaming it all on cg chatters also isn't right. I think there's just general toxic rp frogs too. Cb/gg chatters too have been weird in her chat. Her older community is being weird about her friends and her rp. Stan twt can also be weird about that. There's so much backseating across the board. It's not a single issue.
no matter what your opinion is about Leslie, her friends or people she plays with, should in no way be expressed on her chat. that's it. Offline or during stream. Everyone has opinion about who they like or not, but don't broadcast that in her chat. The problem is some of her own mods are biased towards cg, which means, they are only moderating chat in favor of cg, but not towards anyone else. I can't believe that they are not deleting toxic comments in chat against Rae and Sykkuno, her irl friends for 2 years or so. Yes the screenshot was old, but it's not like the toxicity has not been noted by a lot of people these past few weeks. Even Leslie herself saw it with her own eyes. So even if the screenshot from twitter is old, and has been addressed before, the sad part is nothing changed and it is still happening.
I don't know why, but the mods of CG streamers are by far the worst mods I've seen. I stopped following Ramee (back when he was still in twitch) because of how bad his chat is and that his mods don't do their damn job

Leslie is seriously so strong. She is super hilarious in any situation. Leslie does not need to please anyone. It is just sad because some of her long time viewers and mods seem like super nice people but they sometimes frame things weirdly. I only watched her for like a year and already she has grown so much and she always makes her community feel happy in every game she plays not just in GTA.

I think in her case are mostly CG viewers who are probably new viewers and they only know her through April. It always surprised me the hate Sykkuno receives from old OTV viewers tho, it can be a mix of dislike because of all his grow last year, you know “I don’t like you because my streamer deserved to grow instead of you” narrative (I’ve seen comments using it) or it can be the classic gatekeeping considering most of Sykkuno’s grow came from outsider communities (kpop, corpse’s, vtubers, juicers)
There should honestly be a Nopixel discord chat where streamers could vent to eachother about stuff going on in game or with toxic chat cause im pretty sure most of streamers go through the same thing, and would be therapeutic for them too, all offstream and behind the scenes ofc
Thats the reality of streaming and having a huge social following is that you can't please EVERYONE. Someones gonna always be negative about things you do and say. All you can do is be yourself and do things that make you happy. Because thats what makes the viewers come back to watch you play. In the end no one can tell you what to do and say that's your decision and they can go be a child and take their hate and frustrations over how someones playing or they sit there and enjoy the content.

I watch Leslie and ray play gta and the amount of times I’ve seen on they’re chat people trying to tell them what todo it’s ridiculous. Personally if the streamer them self ask what they should do or ask for help, then chat should suggest things and try and help other than that just sit back and watch the fucking stream it’s honestly embarrassing it’s not you who’s playing the game. And if you don’t like the rp what they are doing then don’t watch it simple. Let them do what the fuck they want you don’t control them this is why half of the rp storylines randomly ends, because chat are fucking weirdos.
I remember when ray got Randy to drink a love potion and that rp that day was so entertainin I couldn’t wait to see where it went because it was just so funny. then angry 13 year olds go onto violets stream giving her a whole lot of abuse because she had a rp relationship with him, then the rp storyline thing ended with ray and Randy over that. I can only imagine what carmens chat is like and also Leslie just let them do they’re thing.

@@laceybrown7771 I mainly watch Zerkaa (Tommy T) and more recently Viviana (Lana), so I understand the problem with backseating and metagaming. Zerkaa gets a lot of those, it just comes with bringing in higher numbers unfortunately, rarely have I seen it affecting him personally, he gets a bit more stern with chat if negativity were aimed towards his gang and his friends though. For Viv, as Lana started hanging with the Mandem and getting together with Tommy, her viewership and subs have grown a lot as well (she's goated at RP tbh she deserves the success, went from about 1k subs to 5k in like 4-5 months). And when Zerkaa isn't online, most of the Mandem viewers scatter to other members as well, a lot going to Vivs, and with that also comes more backseaters and metagamers to add to the already existing ones in her chat. She had a panic attack in game recently and lashed out at a cop arresting her so she felt bad, ended stream early and deleted the VOD. I only read about it because someone posted a YT comment. She took a much needed week+ long break to take care of her mental health and only came back yesterday and she seemed alright then. That or she hid it well

Fuslie is being more popular in GTA and her chat becoming more toxic because GTA community can be really annoying sometimes and she doesn't deserve that. Her capability to connect with anyone in the server and the confidence she has is really amazing. I hope she doesn't have to stop streaming gta because of some losers that can't differentiate rp with reality.
I mean viewers will always have an opinion on their friends, I do also, I don't like certain people who hangs out with my favorite streamer, but you can't backseat their relationships and having your opinion out is not gonna help the streamer.
I really think when you do GTA RP you should not have a chat on or even read into GTA Reddit. The GTA RP community has so many negative impact. I just sit there and watch without chatting but some people will tell the streamer to do stuff the whole time and it's irritating. It's happened so much even to summit1g and its a huge reason he stopped playing.
I agree, not having chat during a GTA RP stream is the best thing, not everyone in chat is a bad viewer but having chat at least in emote mode for the entire RP session would be a good thing; with that being said, for example I wonder how Sykkunos stream would be without him interacting with chat, over explaining x,y or z to chat coz some weird comments and being distracted only by his ACDC in game and not by chat... I don't like gta rp that is not something that Im not into but that does not mean I will bash on her for role playing because that's what gta rp is. And her old viewers should enjoy the games that she play even if there's "no games to play" and if they like her playing gta rp but want to still support her just shut up and watch.
