Every time I hear this song it sends chills up and down my spine. Sam Cooke original version of "A Change Gone Come" was powerful and emotional. And Leslie Odom Jr. rendition puts the same emotions and power in this song, of our struggle. Well done Leslie. Sam Cooke would be very proud.

The look of approval and relief on Malcolm's face at the end really gets me. He knew his time was limited and felt good knowing he inspired Sam before he died

I highly recommend this movie as a must-watch for kids in school. It tells the story of four legends who spent one night changing the course of American Politics and Justice. The movie is both educational and entertaining, and it's a great way for children to learn about important historical events. I believe that this movie will inspire and motivate kids to make a positive difference in the world.

It just occurred to me that this song is probably a shout-out to how Spike Lee used it in his movie on Malcolm X, which is also another brilliant film. Props to Regina King for taking this group and making it sing! Actors were great in their roles, the writer for the screenplay was the guy who wrote the original theater play, and Regina took a lot of great a scenes on camera and made it golden! Very much looking forward to the next one.
