I’ve run a red spring in my fsc for a few years now with round ball and have NEVER had that issue with a ball passing by my detents. Sounds like you need to find a better quality detent.
I have such a problem with all of my magazines. That wimpy little spring and flimsy wire never hold anything back. My ammo goes shooting out every single time I load the mags. I know that locking the follower down can prevent that but is there a stronger spring and wire, that you may know of, that can help hold the ammo in the mag? BTW - love the vids - keep it up
I found some replacements way back, I think from Australia. They worked well, but it's been forever since I got them, not sure exactly where anymore. I use silver springs in the mag for balls and it's less chance of having them pop out.
