It has very little to do with you and everything to do with the fact that LTJ is an incredibly talented band who has the ability to write incredibly well-written songs that are going to be loved by people for many years even after we are gone.

Watching this as a 20 year fan of LTJ, and it just gets better with age . . what a sing along karaoke fest of a good time . . . . from my living room . . . . while working from home . . . .
Why is it ska punk bands always seem better live than most bands? Like I have seen reel big fish twice and they are literally one of the best bands to watch live. seems like the same deal with LTJ.
It's the energy. Every ska/punk band I've ever seen brings an energy to the stage that's hard to fight. I have friends who aren't fans of the genre but I bring them to the concerts and they go nuts and have fun. Speaking of which, saw these guys live in Pittsburgh a few weeks back. And they're still the best around imo. ^_^
It's a sad thing that this has so few views. This was on "The People's History of Less Than Jake" and honestly, this is one of their biggest shows ever at that point. LITERALLY one of their best shows and liveliest crowds. Great concert to watch all the way through.
Because every time they've moved into a more straightforward punk vein they then regret it and bring the horns back in a big way and people just don't find horns cool.
I think this is Gravity Games. One of my first ever concerts, pretty sure I was like 14. Unwritten Law played too. Some kid kept yelling at Eric Koston if he could Nollie. Steve Berra made fun of him asking if he could nollie. Kotson then Nollie Tre'd a five set. Twas epic.
@@TheBridgesYouBurn yes, but they also do Pop Punk as well son. For example, songs such as "That's Why They Call It A Union" has no ska elements at all.
Eu IRIA no show em Porto Alegre dia 26 de maio, mas foi bem na época da greve dos caminhoneiros e tiveram que cancelar o show. Pau grosso no cu do Temer.
Nothing like the Pit at a LTJ show. Rowdy as hell but everyone having a good time. Can’t believe it’s been 20+ years since I started listening to them.
Best live band ever, seen them live 5 times and they sound just as good or better than the album and they so energetic yet still soooo good. What a fucking band.
Pretty sure this was when WBRU used to put shows on in the park. This is when Providence was just about getting cool again. Wish I went to this show. I would’ve been 21 and had a blast!!! Great coverage and miss the Cory when it was putting on shows like this all the time. Saw Local H in the same spot and there were about 300 fans it was great!
I saw these guys 3 times and they were 3 of the very best ska/punk rock shows I've ever been to. They were also during the pre-smartphone days, so more people were watching the show and crowd surfing. Audiences have very much toned down crowd work these days and it was all about moshing/slamdancing.
I discovered this band way back just before Pezcore came out when I was in college and now my old fart self had to laugh at Chris's line about the parents in back not liking their music. Now, it's the other way around isn't. My teenagers call punk, ska, grunge, metal, and pretty much any rock music in general "old people music".
Best music, bassist, lyricist, and ska in the fucking game. Without a doubt. If you dig LTJ as much as I do, come check out my fan page. facebook.com/LessThanJakeMemes/
Later than that. More like 2000-2001 as it's around when Borders & Boundaries came out as they're playing songs from it but no songs from any later albums.
