Nice video and a cool location. Love the SCX10II rig, too.👍🏻 First things I would optimize are the esc, tires and the rims. The Hobbywing WP1080 gives you lot of options for smoother throttle control and you even can adjust the brake. Softer tires adds grip for crawling rocks and metal beadlock rims adds some weight to lower the center of gravity of the car.

Thanks for the tips! I was considering laying the shocks at more of an angle, and stretching the wheelbase some. But most definitely if I could get the slow crawl happening better, I'd enjoy this one more.

Cool 👍 This one is my first 1/10 scale. It suffers from stock tires and the short wheelbase. Might have to do something about that soon.

Tires are almost always my first upgrade. Hw1080 is plenty good for trail/crawling, IMHO .. if I ever make it to an Axialfest, I would choose the Deadbolt... seems durable and less pricy, maybe?

Definitely less pricey. I bought it slightly used. And the stock tires lack any substantial grip.

It's in the Fellsway, a state park just North of Boston. The little bit of water is called Floyds Brook. It's a huge park that I've only managed to explore about 5%.
