Thank you, i havent seen the BEF minis, must get some to match more with the SAS/Commandos. I also have the new Foot Knights from Wargames Atlantic, they mix well with Fireforge medieval minis. I hope you will be reviewing the newly released Wargames Atlantic Werewolves and sneak feet. I cant wait to start kit bashing the werewolf heads.
I don’t have the Werewolves incoming yet, but I did get early access to Victrix’s new mounted medieval knights and will have a review video up within a week. I’ll be sure to do comparisons with Fireforge and WGA Foot Knight bits.
Two great boxes, the biggest advantage is their total interchangeability, expecially with the prone figure, given that both had the basic 1937 pattern kit. Probabilly WGA will make an heavy weapons boxed set, with mortars, HMG and some PIATs. P.s. probabilly the automatic pistol could be also a Browning 9mm, a lot of commandoes used it.
Totally agree on all points. The semi-auto being a Colt or a Hi-Power is one cool thing about this scale (~1:48) compared to the standard 1:35 diorama scale, in that smaller weapons could reasonably pass for a number of different options.
Yeah, came here to say the Commandos and Sentries seem to have been produced specifically as part of that game. The Commandos are featured in an expansion (maybe the core box also?), and the Sentries are a big part of one of the expansions. Looks interesting.
